2025 Standout Ranked DL Check-In (Pt. 2)

Francisco is a big and physical athlete with the athleticism to match it which will give him the opportunity to develop into a future high-level college player. He's quick off the line with the power to drive back opposing offensive linemen and can create consistent penetration into the backfield. Francisco pursues the ball well for his size and is a high-effort player until the whistle. He has the frame to add significant size in college which will take his game up a notch. Guillaume is a pure DE prospect with significant athleticism to work with and mold into a future college starter capable of earning accolades. He has high-level pass-rush potential which he's flashed in high school. Guillaume can beat his man inside to split the guard and tackle or he can bend around the end and get under offensive tackles too. He's played DE like an edge rusher a lot this season and is doing so at a high level. Gillespie can dip under offensive tackles and bend around them or beat them to their spot inside. He's a problem to block 1-on-1 and excels when he's on an island with a tackle. Bowling is a stocky interior lineman with the ideal size for a D2 or D3 defensive tackle or nose guard. He's a very strong and powerful athlete who can consistently drive guards and centers into the backfield. He's put on good size since the last measurements we had for him, and Watts has put himself in a position to earn some D2 looks because of that. He's moving well on tape and appears to have the potential to rush the passer as an interior lineman at the next level as he continues to get bigger.
