Jones is a true dual-threat quarterback that does a nice job throwing on schedule passes, puts good zip on the ball in tight windows and knows when to tuck it and run when needed. He is a very explosive and violent runner that has been the lead back for the Spartans for the past two seasons and is in line for another big workload this year. He passed for 242 yards and 3 scores in the teams 42-13 lopsided win over De Anza on Friday night, and showed he can push the ball downfield, throw into tight windows and had nice touch on the deep ball while showing strong pocket mobility as well.
