The Holy Family Fire traveled to take on the St. Agnus Aggies Friday night in a battle between teams with just one loss between them. The Fire took control of the game early – taking a 19-0 first quarter lead before cruising to a 25-7 victory. Find out who put on a show on an individual basis.    Murray was able to get into the open field and show his speed around the corner for a 42-yard touchdown run. He found the corner again later in the game to pick up 20 yards. He showed his quickness by making a move at the line of scrimmage to cut to the outside for an eight-yard touchdown run. In the second half, Murray made a pair of nice cuts through the middle, finishing with a cut to the outside for twenty yards. He showed his great feet again with a cut off tackle for a five-yard gain. The senior showed patience as he picked his way through the middle of the line for ten yards. He showcased his speed again around the corner for 15 yards. Finally, going around the corner again, he made three moves in the open field for 15 yards. Late in the first half, he intercepted a Hail Mary pass as a defensive back.     Early in the game, Davis made a leaping catch on a crossing route for twenty-one yards. He picked up ten yards on an end-a-round that he cut up the middle. His blocking broke down on another run. He was wrapped up at the line of scrimmage, but he powered through the tackle and then spun off another tackle for six yards when he should have had one yard. catches a screen for twenty yards, broke a tackle, and then made a great cut to pick up a first down. On a similar play, Davis made a cut up the middle, broke a tackle, and picked up five yards. A two-way player, the senior pressured the quarterback off the edge to get a hit on the quarterback.     Defensively, Trout was quick off the ball. He fought off blocks to get down the line of scrimmage to make a tackle for a short loss. Late in the game, he came off the edge to get a hit on the quarterback - forcing a bad throw. On offense, on third and long, he picked his way through the line of scrimmage, setting up his blocks, and then exploded to the outside for a first down. Then, Trout was hit at the line of scrimmage, but he ran through a tackle and drug tackers for five yards. On a run up the middle, he picked up a third down with a ten-yard run. The sophomore showed patience as he picked his way up the middle for 24 yards. Once in the open, he makes two quick cuts to get into the open.     Bamsey's biggest impact was on special teams. He showed great speed and made a good cut on the opening kickoff. He took another kickoff return across mid-field. Offensively, he found room between the tackles to pick up ten yards.     His immediate penetration wrecked a play, allowing teammates to make a tackle for loss. He took care of business himself a little later, making a tackle for a short gain. Foudray used his speed and quickness again to explode into the backfield and make a tackle for a five-yard loss. He made another tackle for a short gain later in the game. Foudray is not a big defensive lineman, but he is quick and gave the Aggies' offensive line fits all game.     Neubauer made a great open-field tackle with a big – highlight reel type of hit for a short gain. The junior then made an interception in the back corner of the end zone. Supporting the run, he worked his way around blockers to make another open-field tackle for no gain.     Galvin put six points on the board with a 27-yard touchdown catch down the sideline. Later, he picked up big yardage on a run off the left side. At just over 160 pounds, his good straight-line speed and quick feet complement each other well. He is not just a scat-back; he has a physical running style that doesn't fit his body type.    Casey Pearson Holy Family Catholic OL 6'5 225 SO and Zachry Beach Holy Family Catholic OL 6'0 190 SR   The whole Fire offensive line was effective, but Pearson and Beach stood out paving the way for the Fire's runners. Most of the successful runs became behind these two. Beach opened a hole on fourth and three with a pull block. Later, his pancake block led to another first-down run. The Holy Family offensive line was smaller than St. Agnus's, but they were quicker off the ball all game.    Plamann showed a nice combination of speed and quickness. He was the most effective runner for the Aggies. He cut outside and picked up 15 yards around the right side. Then, the junior used his blocking well and made a quick cut off his blocks for a first down.     Early in the game, Skinner stuffed a third and three run for no gain. Then, he recovered a fumble. Late in the game, he made a nice tackle on the inside for a short gain.     Grismer held the edge and made a tackle on the edge for a short gain. Later, he made another tackle for a short loss.     Simpson was on point all night in the Fire's defensive backfield. Two plays really stood out. He had perfect coverage down the sidelines. Later, he got his hands on the ball to break up a deep pass.     Lopez showed good speed around the corner for a first down. Then, he threw a nice wheel route pass on fourth and five. Later, the senior picked up a first down with his feet on fourth down. On defense, he picks off a pass that was tipped at the line of scrimmage by Charlie Witzel.     Schreier's pressure on the quarterback led to an interception. Whether he was plugging up running lanes, occupying blockers, getting into the backfield or making tackles, the senior made life tough for the Aggies' offensive line all night.     Witzel made a tackle on the inside for a short gain. Then, he pressured the quarterback into a bad throw. Then, he tipped a pass at the line of scrimmage, resulting in Lopez's interception.
