Breck had the highest grade I had on defense for Holy Family on Friday night and rolling back the tape, it’s easy to see why that was. He had the biggest momentum shifter all night for the Holy Family Fire defense as he utiliized his instincts very well to read the quarterback’s eyes and identify where he was going with the ball and locked in the interception. Breck also had the biggest spark I caught as far as contact as he might be 5’10 165 pounds, but this kid can pack a punch on contact. Whoever lands Breck certainly should be impressed with his football IQ as he has a plethora of NAIA and D3 offers throughout the Midwest.

was one of the best performers of the event, especially in the 40 yard dash. The 5’10, 165 lber. clocked a flying 4.65 in front of some TrainingHaus staff for one of the best times at the entire event. Neubauer also had a strong showing at this past winter’s PRzMN Stock-Up Showcase, clocking a 4.75 40, 4.58 and 4.31 shuttle, and 8’9 broad jump during the opening testing portion of the event.
A three-phase contributor as a WR/DB/returner, Neubauer showed off that speed and explosiveness in an exciting kickoff return for a TD against Byron where he bursts through the initial wave of coverage defenders before sticking, planting, and cutting right, blowing by the last would-be tackler and out-running three pursuing Bears for a game-changing special teams play. As a CB, the 165 lber. can flip his hips, find the hip pocket of the receiver, and get his head around quickly, and when he gets back in phase to allow himself a chance to play the ball. Neubauer is capable of playing as a press corner, and in coverage, he’s quick out of his breaks and does a good job of working to undercut a receiver’s route for impressive PBUs. The 165 lber. also has no problem sticking his head into run support and can defeat blocks and make 1v1 tackles as the edge defender. He is also a strong tackler who packs a punch for his size and can play wideout if called upon. Don’t be surprised if he moves up the rankings this offseason.

Neubauer does a little bit of everything on the outside for the Fire. Primarily a corner in the Holy Family defense, he looks outstanding as a press corner. He gets a good initial jam but then can quickly swing his hips and get into cover mode. He plays the run well – using his hands well to get off blocks. Neubauer has good instincts when playing off coverage. Offensively, he has quickness both as an outside receiver and as a threat on end-a-rounds. He even shows well on special teams as a kickoff returner and as a threat coming off the edge on the field goal block team.

Neubauer made a great open-field tackle with a big – highlight reel type of hit for a short gain. The junior then made an interception in the back corner of the end zone. Supporting the run, he worked his way around blockers to make another open-field tackle for no gain.
