Lincoln Way East

#13 QB [player_tooltip player_id='800191' first='Jonas' last='Williams'] (2026 – Oregon)

Williams is the #1 junior in the state and with his new squad at LWE he did nothing to take away that distinction. Plus plus athlete with a quick release, velocity on his throws, and touch when he needs it. Throws well on the move and makes quick decisions when in the pocket. Free and easy release. Lets it rip as the ball explodes out of his hands with a super strong arm. Like how he anticipates throws before wide out makes cut. Loves to hit the post routes. Excellent in the RPO game on a couple plays. He has such a great burst as a runner including dashing for a 20 yard TD that was called back by penalty. Can run for first downs pretty much at will. Couple negatives where he dropped a bad snap followed by having the ball fly out of his hand for a fumble. Also missed a couple long balls on 3rd and 4th down and had a pick locking in on a pass catcher throwing across the field to the sideline from the opposite hash. Oregon is getting a star in Williams. Playing style reminiscent of a Lamar Jackson type. He was 25-39 for 355 yards and 4 touchdowns.

#20 RB [player_tooltip player_id='1585196' first='Brody' last='Gish'] (2026)

Gish didn't even start the game, but finished rushing for 203 yards in the victory along with 3 touchdowns. The 5'9” junior hides well behind his blockers and is shifty on runs in between the tackles keeping his legs churning. Can start east/west and then accelerate down the field. That was evident on one stretch play where he attacked the edge then put his foot in the ground up field, spin move and blew past the secondary for a touchdown. He had strikes from 65 and 33 yards. Capable pass catcher. Grinded out yards in the second half to run the clock out.

#3 WR [player_tooltip player_id='1292272' first='Talan' last='White'] (2025)

White had a pair of touchdowns in this one. They both came on long bubble screens one from 68 yards and the other from 70 yards. He has breakaway speed blowing past defensive backs with the ball in his hands. Breaks tackles in the open field. Caught four catches for 134 yards and the pair of long touchdowns.

#10 MJ Schley (2025)

Solid game from Schley as he ran crisp routes at 6'0”. More of a possession wide receiver that caught a touchdown on a crossing route. Very good hands and has smooth acceleration.

#2 TE [player_tooltip player_id='830853' first='Trey' last='Zvonar'] (2025 – Miami OH)

Zvonar is one of the better senior tight ends in the class. The 6'4” 215 pound tight end is physical at the line of scrimmage. Can make contested catches on short routes. Liked the out route in particular. Blocks well off the line and can even release off the initial block to grab a pass. Soft hands. Keeps open as an outlet for his QB when Williams was scrambling. Precise route runner with sure hands. Maimi (OH) has a good one.

#91 DL [player_tooltip player_id='832141' first='Caden' last='O'Rourke'] (2025 - Northwestern)

O'Rourke is a highly ranked defensive end that is headed to Northwestern. Went right around Stoilov on the opening snap forcing a sack. Very explosive off the line of scrimmage while translating power to speed well. Always around the ball and uses his hands and powerful punch on rush. Physical end that had a fumble recovery as well in this one.

#44 [player_tooltip player_id='801702' first='Jacob' last='Alexander'] (2026)

Alexander is a 6'4” 240 defensive end/edge rusher that has all the tools. Super athletic with a great physical profile. Best using speed to the outside including his bend on pass rush. Forces the QB up in the pocket even if he doesn't get there. Speed to burn with this kid! Can rush standing up or from a three point stance. Showed the explosion on a spin move where he drilled the QB. One of top defensive players in junior class.

Maine South

#14 QB Constantine Coines (2025)

It wasn't the greatest game for Coines. He struggled with pressure in his face and wasn't super accurate on the deep ball. Did look more comfortable and accurate when he had more time. Best play was a quick bubble screen pass for a 30 yard touchdown right after his team got a turnover. Also had a nice dime in the redzone to Vitel early in the game. He has some grit to his game and should find a home at the small college level. Was 17-28 for 194 yards with 2 scores and a pair of picks. Didn't help that Maine South never got the running game involved.

#15 QB [player_tooltip player_id='342339' first='Jameson' last='Purcell'] (2027)

Purcell came in during the second half to get a couple of drives in. The sophomore was recently ranked #2 overall and the 2nd ranked QB in the 2027 class by Prep Redzone Illinois. He is a lefty at 6'2” 185 with a long and projectable frame to add strength too. Liked how he made quick decisions with the football. Very decisive hitting short passes and displayed his legs as well scrambling for yards. Also moved around off his first read going the other way to find his man to move the sticks. Zip on his passes. Very bright future!

#4 WR Jacob Vitel (2025)

Vitel caught the first TD as the 6'1” wide out sat down on a post route finding the weakness in the defense then turning a couple yards for a score. Won an impressive 50/50 jump ball in the middle of the field high pointing it toward the end of the first half.

#8 WR Mason Patras (2025)

Patras is a 6'1” wide out that took a bubble screen for 30 yards to the house showing nice burst while doing so.

#73 OL [player_tooltip player_id='830244' first='Zak' last='Stoilov'] (2025 - Army)

The Army commit starts at left tackle for Maine South. He has good strength and fundamentals. Anchors well vs the bull rush. Uses his hands well in pass pro with a strong punch. Solid athleticism and overall movement skills. Had a rough first drive, but then settled in. Did struggle a bit at times vs outside speed.

#74 OL [player_tooltip player_id='1120482' first='Petar' last='Strbac'] (2025)

The other ranked offensive tackle on this squad is Strbac. He was comfortable against power rushes from the LWE standout duo. Anchors well and has a strong base. Solid use of hands. Did have a false start called on him.

#99 DL [player_tooltip player_id='503737' first='Tyler' last='Fortis'] (2025 – Eastern Illinois)

The 6'3” 268 pound defensive lineman is a 3/4 defensive end or a defensive tackle at the next level. Flashed his power throughout the game and had a fumble recovery. Not super twitchy, but has good size and instincts at the FCS level.

#5 [player_tooltip player_id='1585334' first='Santino' last='Bernabei'] (2026)

Bernabei is a 6'1” long armed defensive back that has a sweet interception on a long throw from the opposite hash where he picked off Williams and had a return going the other way. Read his eyes the whole time.
