Back to the film room to break down some mid-season tape from prospects on the offensive side of the ball that have been standing out!

QB Kaeden Pettis (Bremen – 2027)

Pettis is a 6'0” junior quarterback. Through their first five games he had 924 yards and 7 scores. Wiry build with good touch on the ball. Stands in the pocket and will make the throw vs pressure. Good ball placement on deep passes on the sideline putting it where his guy can get it.

QB [player_tooltip player_id='1625139' first='Roman' last='Burgess'] (Homewood Flossmoor – 2029)

The freshman signal caller has put up some impressive work on the JV level. Long and athletic quarterback that has a nice arm being able to push it downfield. Good pocket presence along with being able to throw on the run. Plays with nice rhythm and patience.

RB Machai Henderson (Cahokia – 2027)

Henderson is a 5'11” back from the metro east. He has quick cuts in the hole with the ball in his hands making guys miss in between the box. Like the vision and ability to make cuts on the move without losing speed.

RB Zander Tierney (East Dubuque – 2026)

Monster season for Tierney s he has 1,861 total yards including 1,046 on the ground. Also has scored 19 touchdowns!

WR [player_tooltip player_id='1092236' first='Anthony' last='Baldauf'] (Glenbard South – 2028)

The 5'11” sophomore pass catcher grabs passes in traffic over the middle splitting the defense on post routes. Vertical threat that has good speed getting past the defensive back while being able to go up and get it! Good hands with crisp rouote running getting in and out of breaks on short and intermediate passes.

WR [player_tooltip player_id='802039' first='Ayden' last='Ginn'] (Marist – 2026)

Ginn made the move over to Marist for his senior season. Vertical 5'9” playmaker that can split the seam and vet vertical with the ball. Also has some shake on shorter routes. Works well out of the slot as a possession guy that can move the chains. Smaller guy that is slippery with the rock in his hands.

OL [player_tooltip player_id='283927' first='Lamont' last='Miller'] (Mt. Carmel – 2026)

This 6'4” 300 pound guard is one of the more underrated and under recruited offensive lineman in the class. Absolute beast pulling and getting up on the second level with his combination of power and mobility. Pancake machine with his strength up front in the run game. Sound technician on the interior. Anchors well in pass protection using his wide base and long arms along with being light on his feet.

OL Dax Moreno (Springfield – 2026)

Moreno is a 6'4” 240 pound left tackle for Springfield who has not allowed a sack through the first five weeks of the season. Like what he brings in pass protection with his quick footwork and use of his arms keeping defenders away. Has the frame to definitely fill out much more. Good athlete that can get to the second level and drive with his legs in the run game.

OL Khris Villalbazo (Oswego – 2026)

Villalbazo is a 6'0” 275 pound interior offensive lineman that has put together a good senior year. Wide base and moves well for his size. Blows up defenders when pulling. Creates holes with his raw strength and technique. Moves defenders off the ball in the run and can turn them when he needs to create a hole.

OL [player_tooltip player_id='472668' first='Josiah' last='Wallace'] (Glenbard West – 2027)

Wallace is one of the best offensive lineman in the 2027 class. The right tackle has legit size and athleticism. Frame to continue to add strength. Drives so well with his legs blowing up holes on the right side. Seals well creating holes in the run. Excellent footwork in pass protection mirroring and using his long arms. Plays with a wide base and knows how to use his physical advantages.

K Carlo Siviero (Prospect – 2027)

The Prospect junior kicker has had a strong year. Big leg on touchbacks. Also had a nice pouch kick that his team recovered. Solid field goal kicker.
