Purcell is a strong lefty with a tight, compact delivery who looked good on night one. He had good ball placement near the sidelines and can fit the ball into tight windows. Purcell had a rough 7 on 7 portion on Sunday and didn’t pop on day two, but he was right up there with the top guys of the weekend in moments.

Purcell is one of the best prospects in the state of Illinois.  At 6’2″ 185 pounds Purcell is a southpaw that has elite touch, timing, and accuracy.  So accurate on intermediate and short routes.  Gets the ball quick out of his hands.  Throws well on the run going either way.  Capable scrambler that can get a first down.  Precise footwork and mechanics for a young QB.  Throws an excellent deep ball.  Legit three level thrower that levels it incredibly well. Advanced feel for the game.
