[player_tooltip player_id='218554' first='Lotzeir' last='Brooks'] is not only a player you will hear about on Saturdays for Alabama, but there is a very high possibility he could be playing on Sundays in the future as well. Lotzeir may be the shiftiest receiver in the entire state. He absolutely torched the Holy Spirit secondary last week as he account for 3 of his teams 5 touchdowns and a large chunk of their yardage on offense. Catching only 5 passes and going off for 200 yards, Lotzeir is pure magic with the ball in his hands. Truly one of the quickest and most explosive route runners in the state, defenses need a safety sitting over top if they want to have any chance of slowing him down when he takes the route deep. If you're simply interested in seeing a future star before they hit the big time, head on over to a Millville game so you can say you saw [player_tooltip player_id='218554' first='Lotzeir' last='Brooks'] before he blew up.

The Charlotte commit, [player_tooltip player_id='1295981' first='Jack' last='Moran'], is a force to be reckoned with. The gunslinger from my favorite team in the entire state led a 42-38 victory over Chicago Mt. Carmel. Throwing for an astonishing 517 yards and 5 touchdowns, Jack commanded an electric offense as they marched downfield with little resistance. Jack has the dimensions that every collegiate program can only dream of having on their roster. Standing at 6'5" and 225lb, Jack towers over his competition. He can stand comfortably in the pocket and see over his offensive line, allowing him to take in the whole field and dissect the defense at will. Jack is one of those QBs that has perfected his craft and mastered the mechanics of an elite passer. The Hun School may have an undefeated season on the horizon. The entire offense had a field day as well last weekend as top receiving targets [player_tooltip player_id='321783' first='Bryce' last='Kania'] (Wake Forest) caught 3 of Jack's touchdowns for 224 yards and [player_tooltip player_id='960399' first='Drae' last='Tyme'] (Holy Cross) caught another touchdown and 124 yards. Pay attention to [player_tooltip player_id='1295981' first='Jack' last='Moran'] and the Hun School if you want to see some of the best players in the state perform this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='960397' first='Xavier' last='Williams'] was truly one of my favorite running backs by the end of the 2023 season. Here he is again exceeding expectations as he absolutely decimated St. Peter's Prep on the ground last Friday. Xavier was fed the ball 30 times and amassed 252 yards and 2 touchdowns. Xavier can hurt defenses through quickness and strength. Xavier is one of those backs that as soon as the ball is within his grasp he accelerates to another level. The speed that Xavier is equipped with can catch defenders off guard and force them to whiff on the tackle. As he runs low to the ground, defenders also have a tough time getting leverage on Xavier. He makes it very challenging for any defender to match or get lower than his pad height. Xavier runs with authority and isn't afraid to drop the boom on defenders between the tackles. An Air Force commit, Xavier is ready to leave it all out on the field for Paramus Catholic before moving on to the next level.

Another receiver to get familiar with, [player_tooltip player_id='939269' first='Rafferty' last='Harris'] is a receiving target that must be taken seriously. Rafferty gave St. Luke's all types of trouble last weekend, as be caught 8 passes, 175 yards, and 3 touchdowns. He isn't a massive receiver by any means, but is extremely productive in every facet of the game. Rafferty is one of those versatile WRs that can stop and turn on a dime to comeback for the ball and can also stutter step and accelerate downfield to beat the defender to open space. A strong body as well, I foresee Rafferty playing a somewhat Deebo Samuel role in his offense; being utilized in every way possible to set him up for favorable matchups. Rafferty is going to put up some big numbers in 2024.

Feed Christian Lafonte the ball. Marlboro figured out that if they do that, they can have a very successful 2024 season. Marlboro dominated Colts Neck last week 34-0, and a lot of that offensive success hinged on getting Christian the ball as much as possible. Taking 22 carries for 214 yards and 3 touchdowns, Christian carried the offense on his back as he ran through and around defenders. Christian may be a smaller back, but that does not stop him from having a huge impact on the outcome of the game. Christian has fantastic body awareness and balance, making it extremely challenging for a defender to get him to the ground if they don't wrap up fully. It is not only difficult to try to topple Christian, but he has this quick jump cut that often leads to defenders landing face first on the field. This is a special kid that deserves some attention.

[player_tooltip player_id='1201940' first='Jadon' last='Prinzivalli'] may be the new QB for Delbarton, but he is helping the Green Wave pick up where they left off from last season. Delbarton was able to take control of the game very early on and finished the day with a 34-7 victory over Iona Prep. A lot of the offensive success was lead but the team's lethal pass attack. Jadon picked Iona's defense apart as he threw for 337 yards and found the end zone 4 times. I think by the end of the season Jadon will elevate himself into a D1 caliber QB. While he isn't as tall as [player_tooltip player_id='1295981' first='Jack' last='Moran'], Jadon has a lot going for him as he is a precise passer with enough mobility to get out of a sticky situation. I am thoroughly impressed with Jadon's calmness under pressure and ability to deliver on time throws to his receivers downfield. Delbarton's schedule only gets more challenging from here, as they square up against Malvern on Saturday. [player_tooltip player_id='1201940' first='Jadon' last='Prinzivalli'] and Co. give Delbarton a chance to compete.
