6 GA RBs Raising Their Stock

He is a between-the-tackles runner who is finding a way to create explosive plays, averaging nearly 9 YPC on the year. His ability to run through arm tackles and fall forward is what makes him so effective. His 6'0 200 frame gives him all the horsepower needed to handle a workload. He wouldn't win a foot race against other productive RBs in the state, but he flashes enough explosiveness and change of direction to redirect his body and explode through openings. When he cuts, turf tosses up and he can create fly-by misses. He will drop his shoulder or throw a stiff arm to strongly finish his runs. Lindley is a tough, strong runner with enough burst to attack space at the D1 level.     Mason Munn is the top RB for Creekview, who has a potent rushing attack. He has produced on varsity for the last three years, but so far, he has taken a huge step in the right direction as a junior. Munn is a stout, one-cut style runner who is at his best when he gets north/south. He is playing with more confidence this year, aggressively hitting holes and taking the available yards. He isn't the bounciest runner, but instead, he makes subtle movements in his rushing path to cause hesitation in defenders. Munn plays with a physical edge, ending his runs by dropping his shoulder and moving the pile. Munn has taken another step this year and is in for a big second half.     [player_tooltip player_id='1576060' first='Christian' last='Lawrence'] is a dynamic size/speed combo who is one of the most explosive playmakers in Georgia this year. He carries his 5'9 185 build on a stout frame, allowing him to pinball between tackles and win upon contact, especially with weak tackling attempts. Lawrence is elite in space, and TCCHS often flicks the ball to him on the outside and lines him up at WR. He has reported 10.9 100M speed, and while I couldn't verify, his tape definitely backs it up as he often outruns good tackling angles and builds away from defenders. Lawrence is more of a "get it and go" player with the ball in his hand, but he frequently jumps across the face of defenders and causes misses. Lawrence has P4 tools and will likely generate some big-time college attention at this current rate.     Will Rajecki is having a prolific start to the season and is starting to generate some P4 attention. Here is a recent write-up:   "Will Rajecki has been the top playmaker for Sequoyah through 3 weeks. He accumulated 191 total yards and 2 TDs in an upset victory over Kell last week. Rajecki is a stout 5'11 195, giving him the durability to handle a workload between the tackles and drive a pile forward when needed. His plant strength is elite, tossing up turf when he cuts and quickly redirecting his big body upfield. He is a patient runner, often nickel and diming his way around defenders to take the yards available. He rarely, if ever, outruns his blockers. He might not possess elite breakaway speed, but he pieces his way through the front 7 very well and has plenty of drive in his legs. Rajecki is a D1 RB prospect breaking out this fall."     When they badly needed a win, Telley Anthony showed up big-time for Providence Christian in a win over Mount Pisgah, rushing for over 200 yards and adding a TD. Anthony runs with a low center of gravity, listed at 5'9 190. He is tough to bring down, running with plenty of drive in his legs and consistently fighting to stay on his feet in contact. Anthony is patient and plays with good bounce behind the line of scrimmage. If he initially makes the wrong read, he is able to recorrect himself, bouncing into new running lanes to find yards. Anthony is best horizontally where he can search and take advantage of running lanes, but he has the frame and power needed to get north/south when necessary.     [player_tooltip player_id='1577115' first='Nolan' last='Matthews'] is starting to find his stride, improving each game for Lumpkin County and is fresh off a 210-yard rushing performance against Dunwoody. Matthews is a longer, lankier 6'0 180. Added play strength would benefit his play between the tackles, but he is light on his feet and can create yards in several ways. He has reported 10.9 100M speed, and it flashes when he explodes through openings and carries away from defenses. Matthews has a unique knack for finding space, juking and spinning off defenders to find room to operate. Matthews is one of the top playmakers for Lumpkin County and is a candidate to break 1000 yards on the ground this year.
