[player_tooltip player_id='1314758' first='Ricardo' last='Parker'] is a super talented defensive lineman out of Chilton County who is coming off a terrific breakout season last fall. Parker had a huge freshman year that featured him making a ton of plays against the run and pass. At 6'3 Parker has great size and pairs it well with his quick and aggressive playstyle- it doesn't matter what opposing offenses run, he's going to find a way to impact the play. Parker is fantastic rushing the passer, he already has a wide variety of moves he uses to beat offensive linemen into the backfield, consistently generating pressure and racking up sacks. Against the run Parker can do a ton of damage- he eats up space and frequently sheds blocks to make tackles at or behind the line of scrimmage. All of this showed up on tape last fall, Parker ended his freshman season with 52 total tackles (28 solo, 19 for loss), 13 sacks, and 14 hurries. Be sure to watch Parker this season, he's set up for a massive sophomore season where he's bound to make a ton of big plays.

Landen Combs is a dominant defensive lineman out of Ardmore that has quickly emerged as one of the state's top sophomore DL prospects. Combs is off to a great start this season, through the first few weeks he's already put together some great tape against some tough opponents. Combs is a dynamic lineman that can put pressure on the quarterback and eliminate any threat in the run game. At 6'1 250, Combs has a lot of athleticism he uses to bully offensive linemen and make plays. Combs plays with a lot of speed, power, and physicality- he's constantly driving linemen into their backfield to make plays behind the line of scrimmage. Combs is a talented prospect that we are going to have to keep track of. As an underclassman, he already is making a big impact and he's only going to keep getting better. Be sure to watch out for Combs this fall, he's played really well so far and is set up for a big sophomore season this year!

[player_tooltip player_id='1409038' first='Jason' last='Tennasen'] is a destructive defensive lineman out of Decatur that has already become a key piece of his team's defense in his first two seasons. Tennasen was a force on Decatur's defensive line as a freshman and made a ton of plays against opposing offenses rushing and passing attacks all season long. At 5'10 250, Tennasen lacks in size but can consistently wreak havoc in the opponent's backfields. Tennasen can beat offensive linemen in a variety of ways- he's quick on his feet, can generate a lot of power, and can gain great leverage to topple over blockers. All of this was easy to see last fall as Tennassen put together a really good first season- he ended the year with 48 tackles (32 solo, 8 for loss) and 5 sacks. It's really impressive that in his first season Tennasen was able to produce as well as he did, as he continues to develop he's going to be a problem for offenses around the state. Watch out for Tennasen this fall, he's a talented prospect that is set up for a big sophomore season for Decatur's defense!
