What differentiates this set of prospects from the rest is that from the ashes of the watchlist, they rose and are here to stay. Below are a handful of prospects that were watchlisted and, immediately upon film review, shot toward the top of our rankings for the class of 2026.

The first thing I look for when examining center play is the ability to simultaneously step and snap. For Glassboro's [player_tooltip player_id='1276740' first='Jayce' last='Grays'], this is something he is able to do. Aside from being able to get to his assignment one step quicker, this skill is also indicative of Grays' ability to bend, as he has to narrow his stance just a bit to do this and keep his balance as he steps. This ability to bend is also evident in how he plays with good pad level, especially when back blocking. A fighter, Grays keeps working and is very active in working to stay in front of his opponents. He also moves laterally very well, which allows him to reach with ease. Lastly, Grays does a great job working up and under his opponents.

https://twitter.com/Jayce_Grays53/status/1801980407065215204

Listed as an athlete, there are few things that [player_tooltip player_id='212398' first='Nate' last='Bailey'] is unable to do on the football field. Much of what he can do begins with his clear, second speed he can achieve and his elite vision to all parts of the field. Bailey high points the ball well, often doing so in concentration-type situations through traffic. A shifty and elusive player too, Bailey has the ability to make someone miss in a phone booth and all the moves you would wish for to boot. Showing his toughness, his film shows that Bailey can absorb a hit and maintain possession through both contact and the ground. A nimble player who also has power, he also excels at getting his feet down near the sideline and also keep a pile going. Lastly, Bailey's excitement shows on the field and even more when he is making big plays.

https://twitter.com/natebailey02/status/1830617426888974503

Also an athlete, [player_tooltip player_id='311366' first='Steve' last='Klein'] delivers on the field in a much different way than the aforementioned Bailey. Also blessed to have a second gear, Klein has a great backpedal that is quick and fluid. This allows him to run and get to his drop with ease, while having plenty of time and space to break on the ball when it is thrown. When defending the pass, we see that Klein does a great job of feeling and sensing his matchups every move as he stays in their hip pocket. Klein looks absolutely huge on film, often the biggest player on the field. With the ball in his hands, we see him hit shifty cuts. Lastly, Klein is about as sure of a tackler I can recently recall seeing. Klein can profile and gator tackle with equally elite proficiency.

https://twitter.com/steveklein25/status/1802017726375825421
