2025 Rankings Risers: Offense Part 1

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Evaluating the 2025 offensive prospects that made big moves in the updated 2025 PRZ state rankings.</h2>    Versatile skillset that has flashed playing DE, TE, and now OT. At 6'6” 245 lbs. he possesses an athletic frame with length and growth potential to add weight/strength as he develops. Excellent natural movement skills, feet, and bend allow him to play with leverage and get to the spot establishing positional leverage. Plays with a wide and powerful base to effectively handle bull rushes and anchor down to absorb an oncoming rush. Good upper body strength and hand usage, hard initial punch and repositions his hands quickly when knocked down. Griffin jumped into the top 100 overall 2025 prospects and currently holds an offer from Northern Arizona.      Plus athlete with a wide skillset to line up and be effective playing all over the field. 5'11” 180 lbs. he you'll see him lined up in the slot, backfield, secondary, or returner. Very involved in the McClintock offense and they are creative in how they get the ball in their playmaker's hands. He's got a good combination of speed and power as a ball carrier or after the catch. He's elusive in the open field with quick lateral agility and short area burst but has the long speed to finish in the endzone. Physical player that runs hard and initiates contact. Off to a strong start to the 2024 season racking up 16 receptions for over 400 yards and seven touchdowns in the first two games. Holds offers from Wisconsin-River Falls and Lake Forest to date.      Fletcher has had to be patient waiting for the starting spot in one of the top programs in the state but has flashed strong dual-threat ability to start off the 2024 season. At 6'2” 185 lbs. he's got great command of the position and the offense. Calm in the pocket with good footwork and a well-balanced throwing platform he's able to hit his spots and place the ball accurately to all three levels of the field. Can mix up velocities and layer the ball over second level defenders to throw a catchable ball to his receivers. Plus athleticism, he's able to escape pressure and throw on the run or use his legs to move the chains on designed runs/broken plays. A lot to like about his skillset and should see his recruitment on the rise as he's able to showcase his ability. Offered by Northern Arizona and Western New Mexico.      High level QB at 6'2” 190 lbs. that can attack defenses with both his arm and his legs. He's a natural passer with good arm strength and accuracy. Throws a good ball with a smooth over the top release, like his timing and anticipation to throw his receivers open. Puts it in a good spot to allow them to make a play after the catch. Great pocket mechanics, footwork, and ball placement in his drop back and while scanning the field looking for an open target. Does a good job manipulating pressure and moving the pocket to buy time and extend the play while he finds an open receiver. High football IQ, he shows a good ability to read the defense while going through his progression to make smart decisions with the football. Jumped on his first offer to San Diego committing in late July.      Sims has continued to climb the rankings and establish himself as one of the premier two-way prospects in the state moving up to the #11 overall prospect and #1 TE. At 6'6” 225 lbs. he's got ideal length and growth potential in his frame at he develops. Has the size of an elite college TE with the movement skills of a WR. A great athlete that has the body control and coordination to track and adjust to the ball in the air. He's a natural pass catcher that extends to catch the ball outside his framework and compete at the high point. Plus route running ability, he can create separation at the short/intermediate levels and also push vertically to stretch the defense. Recruitment skyrocketed this offseason with 15 high level college offers before committing to UCLA in June.      Hendricks made a big jump in the updated 2025 state rankings moving up over 30 spots. At 6'4” 275 lbs. he's an aggressive blocker with good technique and footwork. Plays with a strong base, he's able to overpower opponents and drive them off the LOS in the run game. Active with his hands showing a good ability to sustain his block and control defenders throughout the play. Moves his feet well to match lateral movement and stay in front in pass protection. Looked good in the spring at offseason camps/showcases resulting in offers coming in from D2 programs Fort Lewis and Black Hills State.
