was an artist on the field this season. Standing tall at 6’2” and armed with a smooth, effortless throwing motion, he has the natural arm strength to get the ball to any part of the field. But what really set LeVinus apart wasn’t just his mechanics — it was his pinpoint accuracy. Time and again, he displayed an uncanny ability to place the ball exactly where it needed to be, threading needles and keeping it out of defenders’ reach. He finished the season with 1,968 passing yards and 16 touchdowns, never letting the ups and downs of the season affect his play on the field. LeVinus ended the season on an absolute tear, having a completion percentage over 68% in four of his last five games and back-to-back 250-yard, three-touchdown performances to close out his high school career. He’ll be heading to the University of San Diego to continue playing football next year, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him making an impact on Saturdays in the near future.

High level QB at 6’2” 190 lbs. that can attack defenses with both his arm and his legs. He’s a natural passer with good arm strength and accuracy. Throws a good ball with a smooth over the top release, like his timing and anticipation to throw his receivers open. Puts it in a good spot to allow them to make a play after the catch. Great pocket mechanics, footwork, and ball placement in his drop back and while scanning the field looking for an open target. Does a good job manipulating pressure and moving the pocket to buy time and extend the play while he finds an open receiver. High football IQ, he shows a good ability to read the defense while going through his progression to make smart decisions with the football. Jumped on his first offer to San Diego committing in late July.

quickly reminded everyone why he was a First-Team All-Region quarterback in 2023. Finishing the game with 431 total yards and two touchdowns, he had a huge day both with his arm and his legs; a performance good enough to earn him an Ed Doherty Award. Throwing for 359 yards is impressive on its own, but LeVinus did this without his top receiver for more than half of the game. Eight different players caught passes for the Trojans ending with an average of 13.3 yards a reception. His 55% completion rate doesn’t fully portray just how accurate he was on the night. Even his lone interception on the day seemed like dual possession catch in the endzone that could’ve easily been called a touchdown in other games. Adding 72 yards on the ground, it wasn’t the amount of yards that was most impressive about LeVinus’ use of his legs in this game. Rather, it was when and how he used them that was eye-catching. Often coming on crucial third downs to keep drives alive, his ability to extend plays was on full display throughout the night.

, I like his game even more; and he’s quickly becoming one of my favorite quarterbacks to watch in the state of Arizona. It’s the way he plays the position that’s truly captivating to me. Starting with just his form, his throwing motion looks very natural. His arm speed is so quick that it leads to him having incredible zip on his passes. His lower half form is just as impressive as his upper half – generating power with his hips and using his quick feet to dance around defenders. LeVinus uses that quickness in the running game too; where he doesn’t necessarily have the top-end speed to break away from defenders, but he’s been known to make a few miss before finally being brought to the ground. With a really impressive skillset, perhaps the most impressive part of it is how well he can put it all together. LeVinus has a high football IQ and it shows in the way he uses his eyes to move defenders around and throw people open to the space he just created, or using the threat of the run because he knows it will pull a defender from one of his receivers. He plays with such a calm, yet confident, feel to him. With another year of experience under his belt, there’s no telling what he’ll be able to do in his senior year.

, leading a potent Paradise Valley offense, has an exceptional command of the quarterback position. His ability to make accurate throws on the run is second to none. A lightning-quick release not only adds zip to his passes but also helps get the ball out just before facing a big hit. LeVinus’ comfort with the playbook shows in his play; he moves with a calmness and control that would be impressive from most quarterbacks at the next level, never mind high school. His trust in his receivers is evident, not afraid to give them the chance to make plays. In addition to his arm talent, his physicality as a runner stands out. His long frame allows him to fight for extra yards, demonstrating not just speed, but strength. LeVinus has a great flow within the offense; he knows where and when to take his shots, and does so without putting the ball in danger. Amassing over 1,500 yards in just five games this year, it’s hard to imagine what he’ll be able to do with a full season.
