As we near the end of the month of September, he have reached the halfway point in the 2024 high school football regular season in the state of Kentucky. With that being said, I wanted to take a look back at some of the top players of the first half by releasing my Midseason All-State teams in each class. To kick things off, here is my Midseason All-State 6A offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='1506779' first='Brady' last='Lee'] is a player who has quickly jumped onto my radar with a strong senior year so far. Through five weeks, Lee is the leading passer in 6A, completing 107/175 passes for 1,417 yards, 12 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. Brady has a strong arm which he uses to stretch the field along with the touch to put the ball where his intended receiver can catch it in stride. Lee has also shown the ability to use his speed and elusiveness to pose as a huge threat as a ball carrier. He is his team's leading rusher with 74 carries for 366 yards and six touchdowns so far. Brady doesn't currently hold any offers but he is a player who college coaches should definitely have their eyes on this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='971533' first='Chayce' last='Burton'] came into this season with high expectations and he has lived up to them so far. Burton has carried the ball 83 times for 631 yards and 10 touchdowns through the first four games, making him the 6A leading rusher in yards per game. Chayce is a strong runner, showing the ability to keep his legs churning and stay on his feet through contact to break tackles without losing stride. Once he hits the open field, he has shown the speed and elusiveness to break away on long runs at any given moment. He has also caught four passes for 25 yards. Burton currently holds offers from Purdue, Louisville, Eastern Kentucky, Toledo, and Kent State, and I expect more to come his way as he is a Power 4 caliber running back prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='735682' first='Aveion' last='Chenault'] is another player who has lived up to his high expectations this season. Chenault is the Broncos' leading receiver through five games, catching 19 passes for 237 yards and nine touchdowns. Aveion is a very reliable contested jump ball threat, especially in the redzone, as he has the athleticism to jump up and catch the ball at its highest point over any defensive back that he's been up against. He also has the speed to blow by opposing defensive backs in the deep passing game. Chenault is committed to Western Michigan where I can see him making a big impact in their offense once he gets there.

[player_tooltip player_id='1506774' first='Grayson' last='Harris'] is a receiver who has burst onto the scene with a very impressive junior year so far. Harris is the receiving leader in 6A through the first five weeks, catching 52 passes for 764 yards and six touchdowns. He is a dangerous deep threat on the outside, using his speed to blow by opposing defensive backs with ease. Grayson is also a skilled route runner, using quick breaks in his routes to create separation. Harris doesn't currently hold any offers but he should be a player to continue to watch over the next couple seasons.

My third wide receiver on this list is [player_tooltip player_id='1323020' first='Cooper' last='Falconite']. He is off to a strong start to his senior year, catching 36 passes for 460 yards and seven touchdowns through five games. Falconite is electric in the open field after the catch, using his speed and elusiveness to turn short passes/screens into big gains at any given moment. He also has shown the ability to use speed to create separation in the deep passing game. Falconite has also come away with one interception on defense so far. Cooper is committed to Southeast Missouri State where I can see him developing into a key player on offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='971548' first='Jaxson' last='Byrd'] is a player who has been on my radar for a while now and has continued to impress so far this season. Byrd plays a very big role in the Barren County passing game, leading the team in receiving with 12 catches for 258 yards and three touchdowns through five games. He is a very reliable vertical threat, using his speed to blow by opposing defenders to create separation. Jaxson is also impressive after the catch, using his speed and strength as a ball carrier to pick up extra yards. Byrd also plays a key role on defense, accounting for 32 tackles, three tackles for loss, and an interception so far. Jaxson doesn't currently hold any offers but he should definitely be a player to continue to keep an eye on.

[player_tooltip player_id='373082' first='Isaac' last='Sowells Jr.'] has continued to prove that he is one of the best overall players in the state, regardless of position. Sowells lines up at left tackle where he is a mauler in the run game, exploding out of his stance and driving his man down the field with ease. He has also shown the ability to pull from the tackle spot and pick up blocks in the open field as a lead blocker. Isaac also plays a key role on defense as a defensive tackle, accounting for 10 tackles, two tackles for loss, and two sacks so far. Sowells is committed to North Carolina State where I can see him making finding an early role on their offensive line.

[player_tooltip player_id='735993' first='Jackson' last='Dialls'] is an offensive lineman I've had high on my radar for a while now and has continued to stand out so far this season. Dialls lines up at guard where he is very impressive in the run game. He does a great job of running his feet through contact to create movement off the line of scrimmage. Dialls also does a great job of getting to the second level quickly and picking up blocks in the open field. Jackson is committed to Western Kentucky where I can see him developing into a key piece of their offensive line unit.

[player_tooltip player_id='735997' first='Lovell' last='Martin III'] is another Frederick Douglass offensive lineman who has stood out to me so far this season. Martin lines up at center where he is very reliable in pass protection. He gets the snap off quickly and has shown the ability to pick up stunts with ease and use his strong base to keep opposing defensive linemen from getting penetration into the pocket. Lovell also does a great job as a run blocker, showing the ability to drive his man out of the picture with ease to create a running lane. Martin currently holds multiple offers and I expect more to come his way as he has the talent to play at the Division I level.

To wrap up my Midseason 6A All-State Offense, I have [player_tooltip player_id='401700' first='David' last='Pellman']. Pellman lines up at center where he is dominant as a run blocker. He does a great job of snapping the ball quickly then driving through his man to create movement off the line of scrimmage. Pellman finishes his blocks with a ton of physicality, resulting in frequent pancake blocks. He is also reliable as a pass blocker, showing the ability to keep a strong base and not allow for much penetration into the pocket. David currently holds multiple Division I/Power 4 offers and I expect more to come his way as he is a high-caliber offensive line prospect.
