Isaac Sowells Jr. Isaac Sowells Jr. 6'2" | 290 lbs | OL Louisville Male | 2025 State KY continued to prove that he is one of the best overall players in the state this season. Sowells lined up mainly at right tackle this season but he has shown the versatility to play multiple positions, including spending a couple seasons as Male’s starting center. He is dominant as a run blocker, exploding out of his stance and showing the ability to drive his man several yards down the field with ease. Sowells has also shown the ability to pull from the tackle spot and use his physical punch in the open field to destroy any defender in his path as a lead blocker. Isaac is committed to North Carolina State where I see him being a key contributor on their offensive line.

Sowells is a very versatile offensive lineman, showing the ability to play both tackle spots this season while also having experience at center in previous years. Isaac is a true mauler in the run game, showing the ability to drive straight through his man and finish blocks quickly, resulting in several pancake blocks. He has also shown the ability to pull from the tackle spot and destroy anyone in his path as a lead blocker. Sowells is committed to North Carolina State where I can see him being an early contributor in their offensive line unit.

Sowells lines up at left tackle where he is a mauler in the run game, exploding out of his stance and driving his man down the field with ease. He has also shown the ability to pull from the tackle spot and pick up blocks in the open field as a lead blocker. Isaac also plays a key role on defense as a defensive tackle, accounting for 10 tackles, two tackles for loss, and two sacks so far. Sowells is committed to North Carolina State where I can see him making finding an early role on their offensive line.

While he is known more for his dominance on the offensive line, Isaac Sowells Jr. Isaac Sowells Jr. 6'2" | 290 lbs | OL Louisville Male | 2025 State KY made a huge impact on defense in Male’s Week 3 win over St. Xavier. Sowells was very impressive as a pass rusher from the defensive tackle spot, showing the ability to shed blocks quickly and get to the quarterback in a hurry. He finished the game with two sacks. Isaac also showed the ability to stop the run, finishing with eight tackles and two tackles for loss. Sowells is committed to North Carolina State where I see him making an immediate impact on the offensive line.

Isaac Sowells Jr. Isaac Sowells Jr. 6'2" | 290 lbs | OL Louisville Male | 2025 State KY has continued to establish himself as one of the top overall players in the state in his class. Sowells lined up at right tackle as a junior but has also spent some time at center. He is a very dominant run blocker, exploding out of his stance and driving his man down the field with ease. Isaac finishes his blocks with a ton of physicality, resulting in frequent pancake blocks. He is also very reliable in pass protection, showing the footwork to mirror opposing pass rushers off the edge and strong base to not allow penetration into the pocket. Sowells holds a long list of Division I/Power 4 offers and recently narrowed his top five down to Kentucky, North Carolina State, Miami (FL), Louisville, and South Carolina.

I can’t imagine any player had more fun on the field this weekend than Sowells. The Star offensive lineman was out there just having the time of his life. He got to roam and play some LB, but he was the 502nd cheat code this weekend. Whenever they needed a 2pt conversion, they called in “Baby Shaq.” I’m calling him that because he would come in, box out his defender, and make a catch with them draped all over him. A big man making those catches was a ton of fun because they couldn’t stop him. They knew it was coming, we knew it was coming, and yet, Sowells made it look easy. He’s a great athlete who you can see clear as day, as potential for Saturday and beyond.

Isaac has a long list of Power 4/Division I offers and I expect that list to continued to grow as he is a high caliber prospect.

In the first place spot on my list is Isaac Sowells Jr. Isaac Sowells Jr. 6'2" | 290 lbs | OL Louisville Male | 2025 State KY , an offensive lineman at Louisville Male High School. What I like about Sowells is his ability to lock in at the line of scrimmage and deter pressure to help his teammates run the ball in the pocket. I also like how Sowells can match the defense’s strength and block from along the edge, utilizing his core strength and physical edge to protect his teammates and put the offense in prime scoring position.

rnAt the top of my list of notable performers is , an offensive lineman at Louisville Male High School. What impresses me the most about Sowells is his ability to quickly blast the defense off the snap, using his size and strength to stun the opposition and create space for his teammates to advance production on the ground. I also like how Sowells can disrupt the defense in the pocket, proving he can absorb pressure, stop the blitz and protect his quarterback.
