After leading his team in receiving last season, [player_tooltip player_id='735551' first='Connor' last='Hodge'] has taken on a new role as CAL's starting quarterback. He has thrived in this new role, leading 3A in passing, completing 121/181 passes for 1,645 yards, 15 touchdowns, and six interceptions in six games. Hodge is an accurate passer, showing the ability to put the ball where only his intended receiver can catch it. He also does a great job of escaping pressure while keeping his eyes down the field to make throws on the run. Connor has also been a big threat as a ball carrier this season, leading his team in rushing with 77 carries for 381 yards and seven touchdowns. He has also continued to make an impact on defense, accounting for 15 tackles, two tackles for loss, and two interceptions so far. Hodge is committed to East Carolina where I can see him becoming a true impact player once he gets there.

[player_tooltip player_id='1513937' first='Kaleb' last='Miller'] is a player who has jumped onto my radar with strong junior year so far. Through six games, Miller is the leading rusher in 3A, carrying the ball 156 times for 986 yards and 16 touchdowns. Miller is a strong runner, showing the ability to keep his legs churning through contact while keeping his balance to break tackles without losing stride. He also has the speed to run away from the defense once he hits the open field. Miller has also caught five passes for 45 yards so far this season. Kaleb doesn't currently hold any offers but he should be a player to keep an eye on over the next couple seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='373042' first='Cortez' last='Stone'] is another running back who has stood out so far this season. Stone is off to a strong start to his senior year, running the ball 82 times for 817 yards and 13 touchdowns in five games. He has explosive speed, showing the ability to burst through the running lane and run away from the defense on long runs. When defenders are able to catch up to him, he has the strength to break tackles with ease and elusiveness to make defenders miss. Cortez also has three receptions for 45 yards so far this season. Stone currently holds multiple Power 4/Division I offers and I expect more to come his way as he is a high-caliber running back prospect.

Through six games, Cotton is the leading receiver in 3A, catching 35 passes for 683 yards and nine touchdowns. He is a dangerous deep threat, using his speed to blow by opposing defensive backs with ease. Cotton is also impressive after the catch, using his speed and elusiveness in the open field to pick up extra yards. He also plays a key role on defense, accounting for 31 tackles, eight tackles for loss, one sack, and an interception so far this season. Trey currently holds offers from Austin Peay, Southeast Missouri State, UT Martin, Eastern Illinois, Lindenwood, and Eastern Kentucky, and I expect more to come his way as he has the talent to play at the Division I level.

Kreutzer is off to a strong start to his senior year, catching 43 passes for 487 yards and five touchdowns in six games. He does a great job of using his speed and smooth breaks in his routes to create separation with ease. Kreutzer is also very dangerous after the catch, showing the ability to use his explosive speed in the open field to turn a short pass/screen into a big gain at any given moment. Jackson has also made an impact on defense with 13 tackles and one tackle for loss so far this season. Kreutzer currently holds offers from Dayton, Army, VMI, Oberlin, Thomas More, Sewanee, and Valparaiso, and I expect more to come his way as he definitely has the talent to play at the next level.

He also does a great job of getting to the second level and picking up blocks in the open field. Ben is also reliable in pass protection, keeping a strong base and not allowing for much penetration into the pocket. Wolford finishes his blocks with a ton of physicality, resulting in several pancake blocks.
