is an offensive lineman who has been on my radar for a while now and has continued to impress this season. He lines up at center where he is very impressive as a run blocker. Dotson does a great job of getting the snap off quickly then driving through his man to create a running lane. Max is also reliable in pass protection, showing the ability to pick up stunts/blitzes and protect the inside gap. Dotson currently holds an offer from Pikeville and I wouldn’t be surprised to see more come his way as he has the talent to play at the next level.

. Dotson lines up at center where he is very reliable as a run blocker. He gets the snap off quickly and does a great job of driving his feet through contact to create movement. Dotson plays with a high motor, finishing his blocks through the whistle, driving his man several yards down the field very frequently. Max currently holds an offer from Pikeville and I expect more to come his way as he has the talent to play at the next level.

from Belfry. Max lines up at center where he plays a key role in the Pirates’ high-powered rushing attack. He does a great job of getting the snap off quickly while stepping to his man and driving them out of the picture to create a running lane. Dotson finishes his blocks through the whistle, resulting in several pancake blocks. Max doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is definitely a player to keep an eye on heading into his senior season.
