is another player who has been on my radar for a while now and continued to stand out last week. He was very impressive out of the backfield in Belfry’s Regional Championship win over Breathitt County, running the ball 15 times for 128 yards and four touchdowns. Woolum has very impressive speed which he uses to burst into the open field with a sense of urgency then run away from the defense on long runs. He has also shown the contact balance to break tackles with ease without losing stride. JB also made an impact on defense in the win, finishing the game with five tackles and an interception. Woolum doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is a player who I am expecting college coaches to have on their radar moving forward. JB and the Pirates have a tough matchup ahead of them on the road against Lexington Christian Academy this week.

is a player who has been on my radar for a while now and has continued to stand out this season. Woolum has been very impressive out of the backfield during the first two rounds of the playoffs, running the ball 12 times for 218 yards and five touchdowns. JB has explosive speed which he uses to get to the outside in a hurry then run away from the defense on long runs. He has also caught three passes for 40 yards and accounted for nine tackles during their playoff run. JB doesn’t currently hold any offers but he should be a player to keep an eye on as he continues to develop.

, an athlete at Belfry High School. What I like about Woolum is his ability to read the short pass and lock down receivers off the short pass, proving he can make commanding stops and swat the ball out of the air. I also like how Woolum can wrap up receivers in coverage and elevate off the ground to haul in the deep interception.

is another two-way player that stood out as a freshman. On defense, he lines up at corner where he is very reliable in zone coverage. He does a great job of reading route combinations and breaking on the ball with perfect timing to make a play. Woolum finished this past season with two interceptions and several pass breakups in 12 games. He also finished the year with 48 tackles and one sack. Woolum is also an electric playmaker on offense, finishing this past season with 19 carries for 264 yards and two touchdowns. JB doesn’t currently hold any offers but will be a player to watch heading into his sophomore year.
