Preston Smith is a quarterback who jumped onto my radar with a very impressive performance this past Friday. He led Fulton County to a win over Calloway County, completing 16/25 passes for 378 yards, six touchdowns, and two interceptions. Smith throws an impressive deep ball, showing the arm strength to stretch the field. He also showed the ability to roll outside the pocket and keep his eyes down the field to make throws on the run. Smith also showed the ability to make plays as a ball carrier, scoring two rushing touchdowns. Preston doesn't currently hold any offers but he is a player to keep a close eye on.

Damien Hill was Smith's go to target in Friday's win. Hill finished the game with an impressive 10 receptions for 225 yards and three touchdowns. He showed the ability to use his speed and route running skills to create separation with ease. After the catch, he showed the ability to use his speed and elusiveness in the open field to pick up big gains. Hill doesn't currently hold any offers but he should be a player to watch during his senior year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1049425' first='Gray' last='Schmittel'] is another wide receiver who stood out this past week. Schmittel played a key role in North Oldham's win over Tates Creek, catching nine passes for 120 yards and a new school record four touchdowns. Gray is a reliable deep threat, showing the speed to blow by opposing defensive backs to create separation. He is also dangerous after the catch, using his speed and elusiveness to turn short passes into big gains. Schmittel doesn't currently hold any offers but he is a player who college coaches should definitely be paying close attention to.

A third wide receiver who stood out to me this past week is [player_tooltip player_id='1339282' first='Luke' last='Erdman']. Erdman played a key role in Beechwood's victory over Dixie Heights, catching four passes for 146 yards and three touchdowns. Luke has explosive speed which he uses to blow by opposing defensive backs with ease in the deep passing game. He also does a great job of looking in passes over his shoulder to make catches in stride. Luke currently holds offers from Butler and Dayton, and I expect more to come his way as he is a Division I caliber wide receiver prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='1175799' first='Luke' last='Ballard'] was dominant in Great Crossing's impressive victory over Henry Clay this past week. The junior ball running back finished the game with 26 carries for 226 yards and four touchdowns. Luke is a hard runner, showing the ability to lower his shoulder and keep his legs running through contact to break tackles without losing stride. He has also shown the elusiveness to make defenders miss in the open field. Ballard currently holds an offer from Kentucky State and I expect more to come his way as he has the talent to play somewhere at the next level.

He was very impressive in Henry County's win over East Jessamine, running the ball 27 times for 288 yards and five touchdowns. Matthews is an elusive ball carrier, showing the ability to find cut back lanes then make moves to make defenders miss in the open field. He also has the contact balance to run straight through defenders without breaking stride. Ray doesn't currently hold any offers but he should be a player to keep an eye on this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='373793' first='Landry' last='Collett'] is a quarterback who has been on my radar for a while now and continued to impress this past week. He led Leslie County to a Week 3 win over Magoffin County, completing 17/21 passes for 295 yards and five touchdowns. Collett throws a very impressive deep ball, using his arm strength to stretch the field and touch to put the ball where only his intended receiver can catch it. He also showed the ability to escape the pocket while keeping his eyes down the field to make throws on the run. Collett also finished the game as his team's leading rusher with seven carries for 57 yards. Landry doesn't currently hold any offers but he has received some college interest and has the talent to play quarterback at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1176970' first='Emmanuel' last='Miles'] is another quarterback who stood out to me this past week. He had a perfect game as a passer in his team's win over Scott, completing 8/8 passes for 232 yards and five touchdowns. Miles has a strong arm which he uses to lead his receivers down the field in the deep passing game. He also has impressive accuracy, showing the ability to fit passes into tight windows where only his intended receiver can catch it. Miles doesn't currently hold any offers but he should be a player to watch over the next couple seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='283961' first='Colin' last='Daniels'] is a quarterback who I had high expectations for coming into this season and he has lived up to them so far. He was very impressive in North Oldham's win over Tates Creek, completing 21/25 passes for 285 yards and four touchdowns. Daniels is very fun to watch when throwing the deep ball as he has the arm strength to stretch the field and puts great placement on his passes, putting the ball where only his intended receiver can catch it. He is also very impressive on the run, showing the ability to keep his eyes down the field to find the open receiver. Daniels also ran the ball five times for 49 yards in Friday's win. Colin doesn't currently hold any offers but I expect some to come his way soon as he has received some college interest and is a Division I caliber quarterback prospect.

My final offensive top performer from Week 3 in the state of Kentucky is [player_tooltip player_id='373782' first='Brady' last='Atwell']. Brady led Owensboro Catholic to a win over Greenwood on Friday, completing 14/20 passes for 243 yards, four touchdowns, and an interception. Atwell is an accurate passer, showing the ability to hit receivers out of their breaks where they can make catches in stride. He also has the arm strength to stretch the field in the deep passing game. Atwell also showed his dual-threat ability on Friday, leading his team with eight carries for 81 yards and two touchdowns. Brady is committed to play baseball at Western Kentucky but he has received some Division I football offers and has the talent to play quarterback at the next level if he were to have a change of heart.
