During a tight game with section rival Chaska, Madson managed to lead his team in receptions (7), receiving yards (94), and receiving TDs (1). The Sioux Falls basketball commit continues to ball out on the gridiron and provide a dangerous weapon to a talented Cougars receiving core.

One of the tallest offensive line prospects in the state, Petzel produced nearly a minute of quality tape from Mankato East's Week 3 battle. His improvements have been drastic and easily notable. His pad level has shrunk significantly and he's far more mobile. He relies less on his giant frame to keep defenders in front of him but still possesses incredible length in his arms that he can use to strike defensive linemen first.

Ess was Mr. Do-it-all on Friday night. Defensively he recorded a fantastic 12 total tackles and was extremely physical at the point of attack, often disrupting many key run plays. He also got the rare carry-on offense, which he made sure to make the most of with a 41-yard house call where he trucked a linebacker at the LOS. Keep an eye out for this rising athlete.

Jahnke was an absolute DOG on defense last Friday. He recorded an astounding 18 total tackles, as well as half of a sack and a 30-yard reception on offense. Whether they lined him up across the middle of the field, or in a 3 technique over a guard, Jahnke found a way to make plays and slow down the Scarlets offense.

Chaska's nose tackle was an absolute bully last Friday. Derrick Jr. recorded two sacks by simply manhandling the center and rag-dolling him into the QB. His first step off the line is surprisingly quick, and he was able to put his athleticism on full display after he blocked a PAT that was key in Chaska's 1-point victory.

Parrington once again finds himself in a write-up, this time because of his physicality from last Friday night. He's not the biggest or most technically advanced prospect, but he's mean, he fires off the ball like a missile, and when he gets locked up on you it's wraps. I hope to see him continue to build on the success he's shown through the first three weeks.

Hiebert is the definition of an offensive lineman who finds work. When he gets to the second level, he seeks out linebackers to teakettle and is mobile enough to engage them properly in the open field. Even if he doesn't drive his defender 8 yards downfield, he will often successfully find a way to move them clear out of the RB's way. Keep an eye out for the returning All-District honorable mention upfront.

One of the biggest breakout QBs from Southern MN this season has got to be Chanhassen's Ramler, with his Week 3 performance cementing this.
