Top 10 Players Who Need Big Weeks For Their Teams

Last week he started hot and hit some big throws early in the Central Dauphin East. He throws one of the prettiest deep balls you ever see, but he struggled a little behind an offensive line that looked confused about who to block. He also got hurt in the game and never returned in the 2nd half. I expect a big bounce back from Still this week when they travel over to Hempfield and play the Black Nights. Manheim Township is a talented offense and they will need a big night from [player_tooltip player_id='599033' first='Tyler' last='Frey'] and other defenders on the Central York team. Frey is a good player who excels playing in space. Harrisburg did not play well losing 45-7 to a talented team. Part of the reason for the loss was losing multi-year starter at quarterback Sean Lee for the year because of eligibility issues. Shank is talented, but it had to be hard to make a start against a good team in La Salle College. Next up is Bishop McDevitt. He is a good wide receiver and a cornerback. At both positions, he shows good athleticism and speed. At cornerback, he has elite coverage skills. Reading will need Beatty to be a good player to avoid going 0-2 when they face a resurgent Muhlenberg after they started 1-0 on the year with a big win last week. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='255085' first='Brady' last='Heiser'] is one of the best quarterbacks in the 2025 class. He had a good week 1 in that defeat against Chambersburg but will have to continue to play well this week against Waynesboro. Heiser is equally as good in the pocket and outside the pocket. He is a dual-threat quarterback who makes a ton of plays for Gettysburg. I expect he continue to play well going forward. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1520464' first='Brayden' last='Brown'] is a legit running back for Ephrata. He has a good running style that is physical and tough to bring down. In last week's victory over Red Lion Brown ran for 80 yards and 3 touchdowns. He needs to continue to step up for Ephrata this week when they play Manheim Central a talented team when Ephrata tries to go 2-0 this season. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1091213' first='Cameron' last='McClair'] is a good quarterback and athlete in the 2027 class. He has all the tools to play at a high level going forward. Last week he and his teammates lost 42-6 to Eastern York. They are trying to rebound this week when they play at Donegal. McClair I expect to step up and play at a high level for Columbia. He has all the tools to be successful. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1513180' first='Leon' last='Parson'] stepped up big time last week to play running back for Central Dauphin last Saturday in their win over York High. Star running back [player_tooltip player_id='386034' first='Jared' last='Porter'] got hurt and Parson stepped up to help carry the load at running back. He had a rushing touchdown and helped provide a boost for Central Dauphin East. Porter could be out again this week and Central Dauphin East might need Parson to step up again. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1131281' first='Alex' last='Long'] is a heck of a player for Camp Hill. He had a monster game last week. He had 190 yards receiving and 3 touchdowns in the 42-41 loss to Lancaster Catholic. He also had a sack and blocked punt. Long is a legit playmaker for Camp Hill. Hempfield struggled last week and only scored 9 points last week. The good thing is that York High's Hempfield opponent also struggled last week. So, this is a chance to take a step up and compete and possibly get a win. Margeson is the type of wide receiver who should be able to make some plays against York High. York High leaves their cornerbacks on islands to cover guys. If Margeson can get free a few times and make some big plays it go a long way to helping get the win. </p>
