[player_tooltip player_id='1334976' first='Anthony' last='Hickman'] is a tight end with great fundamentals. He's got some pretty impressive speed for a player with a 6'3" 220 lbs frame and uses it well to get separation from linebackers with ease. When he's blocking for his running back he's exceptional at chipping and working to the second level of the defense, effectively taking his assignment out of the play, while still supporting his teammates. Playing on a very talented Bishop Gorman roster, Hickman is a player to keep an eye on through the 2024 season.

A two-sport athlete who averaged over 12 points on the hardwood as a junior, [player_tooltip player_id='820688' first='Ben' last='Imse'] had quite a productive season on the football field as well. He averaged over 12 yards per catch and found his way into the endzone five times on his way to leading Galena in receiving yards. His athleticism shines as he jumps out of his shoes to get to passes before defenders can and he has the strength and balance to break out of tackles once he does get the ball in his hands. Not often asked to line up at the line of scrimmage, Imse is a bit of a tight end-wide receiver hybrid who can still block for his running backs when he's asked to. He's a player coaches should keep their eye on as he works through his final high school season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1175412' first='Hunter' last='McGory'] is another tight end with a lot of pass-catching potential. At 6'4" and 205 lbs, he's likely going to have to add some weight to his frame to remain at the tight end spot; but if he does, he could make even more of an impact on Basic's offense. Finishing his junior season with 121 yards and a touchdown, he's shown a nice ability to adjust to the ball in the air. Those adjustments often leave the defender behind and end up giving him separation, where he can get to work after the catch. As he continues to grow and get more experience, McGory is a player who could have a breakout year in 2024.

Caden Pollard is a massive target out there for Liberty's offense. At 6'5" and 255 lbs, he still has good quickness in his feet which really helps him in his release off the line of scrimmage. Although he may not have elite top-end speed, his first step is where most of the damage is done. At his size, he doesn't need much separation, not only to catch the ball but to look open to his quarterback as well. Taking on a bigger role in 2024, Pollard is a player who could really come out of nowhere and surprise some people around the state with his athletic ability.
