Knowlton checks into our rankings as a newcomer in this update, and is just outside the top ten at his position but still inside the top 50 overall across the state of Idaho and could rise in the final rankings update later this Fall. Although coming from a small school in Highland high school that plays 8 man football, he is an explosive and violent edge rusher that should be able to make the transition at the next level at the D3+ level. Knowlton is explosive off the ball, plays with violent hands and knows how to use his length to lockout blockers. He is a high motor kid that can quickly get off blocks, chase down ball carriers backside with long strides/closing speed and has tons of growth potential at the next level.     Smith has been starting for Skyline since his Sophomore season campaign, and is one of the more active and athletic edge rushers across the state in this 2025 class. Smith is explosive off the ball with tremendous bend around the edge, and has a quick use of hands at the POA while able to win with both speed and power. He shows relentless pursuit to the ball backside, can strike and maintain his gaps in the run game and is a very technically sound defensive end. Although a bit undersized, if he can pack on another 15+ pounds, he should be able to find a home at the edge position at the D3+ level in college. Look for Smith to be near the top of the sack leaders across Idaho at the end of the '24 season.     Jensen is a big and physical playmaker on the outside that checks into our rankings as the number four receiver in his class, and is one of the best players in all of Idaho. Jensen is a physical mismatch on the outside that does a nice job at using his frame to box out smaller corners, and also shows under-rated deep speed for someone his size with a big catch radius and strong hands in traffic. He shows that he can run a variety of both in-breaking and outbreaking routes, tracks the ball well over the top and can easily break open field tackles with a physical running style and good body control in one on one situations. Jensen is one of the top players across Idaho and holds an offer from the hometown Vandals, and is a no brainer to move significantly higher in the next rankings update.     The Hillcrest product is a very solid tackle prospect in this 2025 class, and checks into our rankings as a top ten player at his position across the state. He has the ideal size for the position at 6'4" and change, and has the frame to be able to pack on more weight and mass as he moves through his last high school season and collegiate career. He is explosive out of his stance, gets a good initial punch on defenders and shows he can scrape to the second level and block in space while able to pull across the LOS with ease. Although a very physical downhill blocker, he is also excellent in pass protection, showing good feet, strong lateral movement abilities to recover and has patient hands while able to win against both speed and power edge rushers. Currently, he holds one offer from College of Idaho, and other D3/NAIA schools should come in and offer in the coming months.     The Minico star offers immense position versatility at the next level, and plays all over the field on both sides of the ball. Offensively, he is a big and physical downhill back that gets vertical in a hurry, runs through traffic with leg drive and forward lean while able to make defenders miss in the hole and shows cutback abilities in the open field as well. The multi-sport athlete is also a big time hitter from his linebacker position, and has a very quick trigger and is a excellent open field tackler that can close quickly, provides a pass rush both off the edge and up the middle and is fluid in coverage against bigger backs and tight ends.
