Expert Analysis
Paul Gregorian | Prep Redzone Scout
Jensen had a breakout Senior season campaign and put together two stellar seasons at the varsity level in ’23 and ’24 for Kimberly. He is a big and physical play-maker on the outside with strong hands, good twitch in the short area for his size and is a mismatch nightmare on the outside with great strength running routes. He shows he can make contested catches downfield, box-out smaller defenders and has a rare combination of size and speed for the position. The 3-star prospect recently shut down his recruitment and committed to Utah Tech.

Jensen is a really good-looking prospect with a great frame and athletic ability. He is going to make the transition from a great high school wide receiver to a great college tight end where he will be able to use his size and frame to impact the game along with his downfield speed. He is committed to Utah Tech.

Jensen is having a tremendous start to his Senior season, and really showing that he is a FCS+ caliber player at the next level. he has elite size, strength and downfield speed for the position and growth potential through his collegiate career. One of the top recruits in the state of Idaho, he has recently picked up an offer from Idaho State, and was previously offered by Idaho earlier in July. As we near national signing day he is a name to note as he still remains uncommitted.

Jensen is a big and physical playmaker on the outside that checks into our rankings as the number four receiver in his class, and is one of the best players in all of Idaho. Jensen is a physical mismatch on the outside that does a nice job at using his frame to box out smaller corners, and also shows under-rated deep speed for someone his size with a big catch radius and strong hands in traffic. He shows that he can run a variety of both in-breaking and outbreaking routes, tracks the ball well over the top and can easily break open field tackles with a physical running style and good body control in one on one situations. Jensen is one of the top players across Idaho and holds an offer from the hometown Vandals, and is a no brainer to move significantly higher in the next rankings update.

Jensen is a big framed wide out with really good straight line speed. He has the ability to really attack the football in the air and goes up at the highest point to rip the football. He has strong hands that allow him to hold off defenders while he uses his big frame to create space. Has a variety of skills where he is even a threat in the return game which you dont often see for a player of his size. He as a good feel for where and when he is supposed to be for the quarterback and is getting better with his route running tool bag. Will be a major threat on the outside this season for Kimberly.

Jensen standing at 6’2” already is going to be a dominant force for Kimberly in the years to come. Already possess game breaking ability as he can take the football to the house on any play. Solid, natural and strong pass catching hands that allow him to really grab the football out of the air. His straight line speed is excellent as he is able to take the top off of the defense and really stretch the back end. Has high point ability and shows his willingness to attack the football in the air. Is really starting to understand what it means to be a route runner and has the ability to become elite at it. Physical out on the edge not only with his ability to block but as a bigger bodied wide receiver he is hard to take down in the open field. Jensen should be one to watch in the next two years.
