[player_tooltip player_id='242267' first='Naeem' last='Offord'] is not just our state's top prospect, but also one of the top prospects in the nation. What Offord has accomplished throughout his career has been incredible to watch- he's been a force at multiple positions for Parker, namely wide receiver and defensive back, and recently committed to Ohio State where he likely will be an early contributor. At 6'1 185, Offord has tremendous speed and acceleration, a great set of hands, and a ton of instincts and football IQ that allow him to make plays wherever he is lined up. Although being a weapon on both sides of the ball for Parker, Offord is expected to play cornerback at the next level, and understandably so. Offord is a terrific DB who can cover a wide variety of receivers, has great ball skills, and is a reliable tackler against the run. Last fall Offord put up some terrific numbers, on the season he recorded 14 receptions for 208 yards and 2 touchdowns, and 14 total tackles, one sack, 5 interceptions, and 4 pass breakups. Keep an eye out for Offord not just this fall, but at the next level as well- he is extremely talented and has more than earned the #1 spot in our 2025 Rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='379573' first='KJ' last='Lacey'] has been an absolute blast to watch over the last few years at Saraland. Since his freshman season, Lacey has been one of the top quarterbacks in the state and country with how well he's been able to command Saraland's passing attack. Lacey has a phenomenal arm- he has terrific arm strength and accuracy that allows him to place the ball wherever he wants on the field. It's extremely impressive watching how well Lacey connects with his receivers, he hits them perfectly in stride and places the ball only where they can make a play on it. Lacey also has a bunch of mobility that allows him to avoid pressure, escape the pocket, and make plays on the run as well. Last fall Lacey had a terrific junior season where he recorded 219/315 passing attempts for 3448 yards and 42 touchdowns, and 5 rushing touchdowns on the year. It's been unbelievable watching Lacey play over the last few seasons, what he's been able to do at Saralnd has been incredible. With how well he's played, it's only right that Lacey is ranked as the #2 player in his class- he's set up for another monster year this fall and will be a player to watch out for in college football when he ends up at Texas next year!

[player_tooltip player_id='216875' first='Zion' last='Grady'] is a dominant DE/EDGE prospect out of Enterprise that has consistently dominated offensive lines all across the state over the last three years. At 6'4 235, Grady has a ton of athleticism at his position that allows him to dominate offenses. Grady is explosive off the line of scrimmage- he has a terrific first step and plays with a ton of speed and power that allows him to completely overwhelm offensive tackles to get into the backfield and make plays. It doesn't matter if opposing offenses are running or passing the ball, Grady finds a way to rack up tackles for loss, sacks, and turnovers. Grady had a huge junior season last fall, ending the year with 87 total tackles (24 for loss), 11 sacks (22 quarterback hits), and one interception. GGrady has been a force in the trenches since his freshman season, which is why we have ranked him as our #3 prospect in the state. Be sure to tune in this fall as Grady is set up for a massive senior year before he heads to Ohio State to play at the next level!

[player_tooltip player_id='228973' first='Alvin' last='Henderson'] is an electric running back out of Elba that has been one of the top running back prospects in the entire nation since his freshman season. Henderson is explosive in every sense of the word. Henderson has an unreal burst of speed when the ball is in his hands that takes him from 0-100 within an instant. Once Henderson hits the open field, it's impossible for defenses to bring him down- he plays with so much speed, quickness, and elusiveness that allow him to easily outrun and make defenders miss all over the field. Year after year, Henderson has put up video game numbers for Elba's offense, but nothing has come close to what he was able to do last fall. Henderson totaled a ridiculous 225 carries for 3523 yards and 61 touchdowns in just 14 games played last season. It's still hard to believe he was able to rack those numbers up, but he sure did which is exactly why we have him listed as our #4 player in the state. Be sure to watch Henderson this fall and at Auburn next year, he's one of the most fun and consistently dominant players I've had the pleasure to cover for our state.

[player_tooltip player_id='228979' first='Jared' last='Smith'] is another dominant DE/EDGE prospect out of Thompson that has terrorized offenses nonstop since his freshman season. Smith is a destructive force in the trenches that can rush the passer, stop the run, and consistently make big plays for loss in the backfield. Standing at 6'6 235, Smith has a huge frame and tons of length he uses to beat offensive linemen. Smith has a great package of moves he uses to rush the passer and does so at a highly successful rate- he frequently finds himself in the backfield generating pressure and sacks on the quarterback every down. In addition to his pass rushing, Smith does a fantastic job setting the edge and getting after the run. He plays with a ton of pursuit, doesn't give up on plays, and will try his hardest to take down the ball carrier regardless of where he is on the field. Smith has been an exciting and talented prospect to watch develop over the last few years, which is why he's ranked as our #5 player in the state. Keep an eye on Smith this fall, he recently committed to Auburn and is set for a big senior season on Thompsons's defensive front!
