After milling through countless hours of Hudl and Qwickcut film, the 2025 Prep Redzone New Jersey player rankings were in a dire need for a serious update. After rolling up my sleeves and getting to work, here are the prospects who performed at an extremely high level last fall, and thus, made the biggest jump in our official rankings.

All things considered there might not have been a single prospect whose stock jumped the most was [player_tooltip player_id='855011' first='Matt' last='Maietti']. Something of a rarity in today's game, Maietti is a dual-threat tight end where the argument can be made that his blocking prowess is as-good-or-better-than his receiving skills. It all begins with his feet. A consistent, unwavering base is paired with short, choppy steps. Additionally, Maietti works his hands inside. However, what might surpass all of this is how he is able to bend and get low. The result is Maietti being able to take defenders wherever he wants to on the field. It is evident that he takes pride in his run blocking abilities. Maietti has a quick arc release which parlays into quick reach blocks as well. Maietti is committed to Army.

The background [player_tooltip player_id='939692' first='Terrell' last='Mitchell']'s high school career tells a story of a versatile back that has etched out big roles despite regime changes. As a sophomore Mitchell was used as a traditional back that primarily focused on rushing. Junior year enter new head coach Matt Bloom, an offensive line coach by trade. You figure, more of the same, right? Nope. As a junior under Bloom Mitchell was featured more of a scat/third down back in a pass-heavy air raid type offense. Either result, the results were excellent. Mitchell is threatening due to his outstanding cutback vision and dangerous due to his second and third gears that he has available at his disposal. Using said speed to his advantage, he manipulates and changes speeds well, particularly as he patiently waits on stretch plays before hitting the hole. Furthermore, he is willing to completely cutback against the grain. An electric threat when in the slot, he can turn targets in an out. Elusive as well, Mitchell can hit the spin move on stationary tackles. His strong legs allow him to break the first man's tackle. Mitchell is committed to Wake Forest.

A defensive back that I think many schools are sleeping on, Christina Soltis alternated between corner and safety. No matter his alignment, Soltis does many things well. First, he gets outstanding breaks on the ball and plays it with his hands at its highest point. Secondly, he is an excellent square-up and wrap low tackler that drives his legs through corner. With great size, Soltis uses it to his advantage to gain positioning and leverage when running routes at receiver. Very strong up top, he has a devastating stiff arm. Should he not get to the ball in time, Soltis will play the hands of the reciever. He also flies up and sets a hard edge in the alley against perimeter plays. Soltis has committed to Richmond.

The second tight end to considerably raise his stock from this last rankings update is [player_tooltip player_id='690092' first='Jaxson' last='Bowman']. Bowman has great size that makes him a mismatch for high school linebackers and safeties, alike. Additionally, the way he moves - fast and fluidly - causes him to be a bonafide threat in the passing game. Bowman can high point the ball, use his hands, and use his frame to come up with contested grabs. Perhaps his best trait, however, might be his ability to create and run with the ball in his possession. Bowman is committed to Delaware.
