Having a sound career and being a reliable piece upfront is Sisk, a versatile lineman with experience on both sides of the ball. However, I feel his future may be on the offense clearing the way. He's aggressive at the line and has no issue overpowering some defensive linemen. As he gets downfield, he becomes more impactful as a lead blocker. He's virtually unknown yet could be a guy who comes in and adds value to a room.

Helping clear the way up front for the state-champion Giants is Miner, a rapidly developing interior lineman who is going to have a future at the next level. He's a good athlete for his size who has no issue bending, twisting, and staying light on his feet. He's got a great natural feel for the running game and how to clear certain blocks. He wins his 1 on 1 blocks and doesn't try to do too much. I'm a big fan of Miner and how he's carrying himself on the field.

Barnes is a raw, yet very talented lineman who can play on either side of the ball and is a 3-sport athlete for Yorktown. Standing at 6'4" and 225lbs and also playing basketball and baseball at the Varsity levels only typically point to raw athletic ability and good hand-eye coordination. I also like how Barnes doesn't seem to ride the waves of emotion. He's a steady player on and off the field with how he operates.

Cherry strikes me as someone who could be a late developer, but when that development happens it will be special. He's got a big frame that he's still growing into. He's got very long arms that seem to continue to stretch. His hands are massive and he's still in a growing phase. He's also got very strong hands and once he latches onto a defender they have a heck of a time trying to break free. Once he gets up to speed with all of the little nuances of playing up front, Cherry will explode.

Bursting onto the scene in a big way last fall for Portage was Frisby, an offensive tackle who has a bright future and checks quite a few boxes. He's got the elite length, the elite natural strength, he's playing varsity and dominating and is only going to continue to improve. He's in the weight room quite a bit and you can tell just by looking at him. However, his frame and ability to drive with his legs also give that away. Starting last season and becoming their set-and-forget tackle, Frisby is a guy who should pick up a ton of traction in the coming years.
