BROOKINGS, SD-- We take a look at more of our top National standouts from the SDSU Prospect Camp last week. This group includes, our South Dakota LB1 in the 2026 class, our North Dakota WR1 in the 2025 class, 2025s awaitng their first offer, a 2026 new name from South Dakota that could be a riser after the fall season, and more!

Drake I am convinced gets longer each time I watch him in a live-eval with his long-striding ability he shows off. The length Drake has was apparent at SDSU and NDSU later that week as the wingspan Drake popped out with pops out over 6'4 which has to impress the college coaches out there in attendance. He also has improved swiftly since our last live-eval with his smooth footwork he shows with every route I watch as you can quickly engage Drake's track background very quickly. His explsoive first step should certainly grow more D2 attention in my eyes as our WR1 in the North Dakota 2025 class.

Cale Haselhorst, WR, Yankton, SD 2026 Twitter

In my eyes one of the sleepers from my standout list from the South Dakota State prospect camp was Yankton 2026 wide receiver Cale Haselhorst. The impressive size sticks out quickly at nearly 6'3 180 pounds and stretched out his wingspan up to 6'5 which certainly stuck out to me in Brookings. Cale showed off well-versed instincts with his change of direction and recorded a pro agility that ran into the 4.4s. Cale is a 2026 prospect I can't wait to get some some further tape going into his junior season.

Rayce Hietman, DB, Williamsburg, IA 2025 Twitter

Rayce was a DB prospect that caught my eyes during the triple jump, as one of the top performers in his group for it. Rayce had so much explosion on his third step as he had great distance and fluidity thru his jumps especially on three. The explosiveness flied out similar on tape with that long release with his first step which gets downhill very quickly. Rayce also has a great football IQ that thrives with his positioning in pass coverage showing off the instincts you want at the next-level and I believe is even better in pass coverage than what the tape shows as a free safety playing on Saturdays. Rayce ran a 4.69 consecutively and exploded with a 9'4 in the broad jump and is one that holy cow am I surprised he doesn't have more than just one offer with his first one coming from South Dakota back in April.

Keith flashed with his fluidity in my eyes with showing off outstanding change of direction at the SDSU prospect camp. The fluidity Keith was well-tuned when I watched him in Indy drills and no doubt recording a 4.32 with his pro agility helps even more with verifying what we saw in Brookings along with the athleticism with his hip drive. One of Nebraska's top defensive backs in the 2025, I love the ball skills that Keith possesses over the top and extremely physical too. A rangy 6'2 195 pound safety that just bursts super quickly that does very well in pass coverage. No offers as of yet, which is a huge surprise with how impressed I was with this kid at SDSU as I am sure there will be some upcoming

[player_tooltip player_id='1236460' first='Bergan' last='Tetzlaff'], LB, Brookings, SD 2026 Twitter

Our LB1 in the 2026 South Dakota is one name I had circled pre-camp that I knew I had to watch, as the measurables, athleticism, and more all added up to what I was hoping to see out of Brookings linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1236460' first='Bergan' last='Tetzlaff']. In fact, Bergan came in a little taller and with more frame than he shows off which is always an even greater sign. The just over 6'4 226 pounder tested right at 4.50 with his pro agility which for that size is outstanding. Getting to watch Bergan in Indy drills, the football IQ he brought certainly has caught even more rise since the 2023 fall season, as I thought he certainly had a strong better knack of understanding that has grown since the season as we saw light shedding hands and well-versed placement. It might be early, but I like the odds that Bergan is a Division I target in my eyes.
