The new No. 1 prospect in Georgia for the 2027 class, Guyton is an elite prospect with an ideal frame and length for days at 6-foot-3 230-pounds, Guyton was a terror off the edge and a quarterback's worst nightmare last year, and he did it as a freshman. He already looks like a D1-caliber player from a physical standpoint and his film from last year is outstanding. The Savannah native lived in the backfield and lit up the stat sheet, making an eye-opening 82 tackles, 19.5 TFLs and 10 sacks. He's explosive off the snap, extremely athletic, naturally strong, and will only add more good muscle and weight over time. Like every freshman, he's still raw, but he'll get better and better as he continues to perfect his craft. He's an elite pass-rusher who will continue to improve as a run-blocking defender off the edge. He has all the tools necessary to be a superstar at the next level, and he's bound for three more monster seasons at Savannah Christian. He already holds offers from schools like Georgia, LSU, Oregon, Miami, among others, and has easy 5-star potential in the 2027 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='378430' first='David' last='Jacobs'] Jr. – Blessed Trinity

Ranked as the No. 2 prospect in Georgia for the 2027 class, Jacobs Jr. is a big, physical defensive lineman with a lean, powerful 6-foot-5 220-pound frame frame. He's still putting on more muscle, but he showed last year that once the pads come on, he plays the game like a seasoned veteran. He can beat opposing tackles with both speed and strength as he made play after play in the backfield last year. He certainly doesn't look, or play like a true freshman, and it's already led to some giant offers. Another defender with 5-star potential, Jacobs is coming off an incredibly productive freshman season where he made 74 tackles, 12 TFLs and four sacks for his Blessed Trinity squad. He hits with force, plays with a high motor, and will only get better and better over the next three years. He's tough to block and should dominate once again as a sophomore in 2024.

[player_tooltip player_id='378384' first='Elijah' last='Peeks'] – Cartersville

A powerful, versatile lineman who can bully defenders at offensive tackle, Peeks has a bright future along the defensive line due to his size, strength, and potential at already 6-foot-3 295-pounds. He holds the edge in the run game with the ability to fight off blocks and make plays in the backfield. He's a force who will only get better under the staff at powerhouse Cartersville this year. He's a big man who should continue to add more muscle and mass over the next three years, giving him an opportunity to take on more double-teams and close running lanes between the tackles. He also showed the ability to attack and swallow up the running back in the backfield. He showed a lot of promise last season in year one as a freshman, and expectations for him are extremely high this upcoming season in year two. Right now, Prep Redzone has him ranked as the No. 5 overall prospect in the state for the 2027 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='416462' first='Justin' last='Weeks'] – Pace Academy

A lean, explosive defensive end with a promising frame at 6-foot-5 220-pounds, Weeks is lightning quick off the snap and found his way into the backfield consistently last year as a freshman. Playing at a program that consistently develops linemen on both sides of the ball, Weeks has a chance to make a giant impact both at defensive end and at offensive tackle as a sophomore this upcoming season. His lengthy frame, production as a freshman, versatility, and overall potential on both sides of the ball are just a few reasons why Weeks is one of the very best prospects in Georgia for the 2027 class. Now, Prep Redzone has him ranked as the No. 6 overall prospect in the state. His frame will allow him to continue adding plenty of muscle and weight over the next three years, meaning he'll only get bigger and stronger as develops his craft as a block-shedding run defender and high-caliber pass-rusher. His talent and potential is easy to see, and he already has an impressive offer list. Look for him to be possibly one of the top DE prospects across the South, and the country, in the 2027 class.
