NY Recruiting Report Pt. XVII

D3 programs are getting a head start on identifying and offering prospects headed into their senior season, as many school admissions have also opened. FCS programs are also holding some camps this July, but overall, this week was quiet on the New York front. Williams took multiple official visits and elected to continue his career with the Eagles under new Head Coach Bill O'Brien. Williams finished a solid June month for Boston College and became the 1st New York prospect to commit to Boston College this year. Williams is also the 2nd OL commit for Boston College this cycle and a player they prioritized. Boston College has succeeded with players from the NYCHSFL, most recently with #28 [player_tooltip player_id='806628' first='Elijah' last='Jones'], the former Cardinal Hayes athlete drafted by the Arizona Cardinals. Davis, who joined a stacked group of DL prospects at Erasmus Hall, all of which graduated, is returning as the key piece to a defensive group that has been one of the best in New York year after year. Belin had narrowed down that extensive list of schools to just a few but excelled at the Cardinal Hayes show day and throughout the spring workout season coming off his Gatorade Player of the Year season, where Hayes brought home the CHSFL State Championship. Belin is the 4th straight Cardinal Hayes QB to end up at an FBS School.
