NY 2026 Rankings: Tight Ends

<p>Per usual with the Tight End position this is a much smaller group than every other position group in these rankings as the players who fit the size profile of Tight Ends in the division 1 level are not only in a generally national shortage but throughout the state of New York are very difficult to find. </p>   <p>Check out the 2026 rankings <a href="https://prepredzone.com/new-york/rankings/2026-rankings/">HERE. </a></p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Top TE Prospect</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Moore stands out as the top TE prospect in New York and one of the top players overall. Moore has a huge frame at 6'5, 205lbs, and the TE prospect is not a natural WR who will be pushed inside at the next level, something that may happen to a couple of top NY WRs in the 2025 class. Moore is a true in-line tight-end prospect, and while he is only 205 now, being only halfway through high school, there are no weight concerns here. Moore should easily weight 225+ and could be closer to 240 by the time he steps on a college campus. </p>   <p>As for what you see on film, Moore is long and still growing into his body, strength, and physicality as a football player but you see strong hand placement as a blocker. He plays with a motor and can impact the game as a big target over the middle of the field who moves well enough to separate vs. LBs and make a player after the catch. </p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Next 3 Ranked</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Halloran is long at 6'4 and he is athletic for his length and age. Halloran moves well in space and is more of a flex-TE who can be involved in the passing game and stretch the field vertically. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Biswas has the right build for an in-line tight end and he plays like one for Herricks. Biswas is a solid blocker that you can rely to block defensive ends. Biswas is continuing to develop as an athlete and overall pass-catching threat, but the size and movement are there. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Brady could really be on this list at the LB position as well, bottom line is that Brady is just a really good football player wherever he lines up. Not sure how much taller he will get but could easily be a strong H-Back/Movement TE option at the next level. </p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Watchlist Names To Know</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Garcia stands out for his size and Rugby background, however DE may end up being his home on Varsity. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Hard to stand out amongst all the playmakers in Stepianc's offense but Keeler is the only offensive weapon they have who can play in a TE like role. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Boyle's first sport is lacrosse, then his next venture is the defensive end position, followed by a potential future at TE. Too thin to be a DE, at 6'5 190, there are a lot of mismatches you can create at the TE position. </p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Rankings Table</h2>
