[player_tooltip player_id='1319930' first='Xavious' last='Anderson'] - Callaway

One of the top 2026 linebackers in West Georgia, Anderson is a promising defender with strong instincts and D1-caliber size already at 6-foot-1 210-pounds. A natural linebacker who can fight through blocks and chase down the ball-carrier, Anderson flashed big play ability as a sophomore last year, making 64 tackles, 9 TFLs, 2.5 sacks, and one forced fumble. His recruitment is on the rise and he could see more offers come his way with a big junior season in 2024. As good as he was last year in 2023, Anderson has a chance to have a truly breakout junior season this upcoming fall. Anderson was easy to add in the latest rankings update, now ranked as the No. 20 linebacker and the No. 119 overall prospect in the state for the 2026 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1323191' first='Reunte' last='Tucker'] - Elbert County

A small-town linebacker from Northwest Georgia native, Tucker is a stout 6-foot-1 215-pound linebacker with good instincts, toughness, and the ability to make a big tackle in the open field. He's coming off an extremely productive 2023 season as a sophomore where he made 87 tackles, two INTs, two fumble recoveries, and three forced fumbles. He runs well for his size and has a nose for the football, making him an easy addition to the 2026 rankings. As good as he was last fall in year two, look for Tucker to have an even more productive season as a junior in 2024. Now, he's ranked as the No. 168 overall prospect in the state according to the latest Prep Redzone rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='1253865' first='CJ' last='Reece'] - Fannin County

A run-stopping machine who lit up the stat sheet last year for Fannin County, Reece was an easy addition to the latest 2026 Prep Redzone rankings after a big sophomore season where he made 94 tackles and 10 TFLs. He was one of the most productive linebackers in the area and across the 2A classification last fall and will only be better as a junior. He takes on blocks and holds his own against the run, proving to be one of the tougher and most instinctive linebackers across North Georgia last year in the 2026 class. Now, Reece is raked as the No. 172 overall prospect in the state in the latest update. The 6-foot-0 205-pounder wraps up nicely and does a good job of consistently finding the ball-carrier and getting him to the ground. His stock is on the rise and he absolutely earned the right to be added to the rankings this summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1323195' first='Jake' last='Moss'] - Walnut Grove

A versatile, under-the-radar defender in the 2026 class, Moss may not be the biggest or fastest linebacker in the area, but he showed more than enough as a sophomore last fall to make a debut in the latest 2026 update, coming in at No. 202 overall in the state. Whether he's playing middle linebacker or on the outside, Moss has the ability to run down the ball-carrier and make play after play in the backfield. He's coming off a strong sophomore season where he made a respectable 87 tackles, 15 TFLs, three sacks, eight QB hurries, two fumble recoveries, and two forced fumbles. He brings max-effort on every play and should light up the stat sheet again in 2024 as a junior. If he continues to develop and make plays on a consistent basis, Moss could see his ranking improve more and more over time.
