FARGO, ND-- We take one last lap around our scouting notebook and find out who the final standouts were at the NDSU prospect camp a couple weeks ago. This standout list will end with a bang, as we have 22 prospects that flashed out in this final series and SO MANY of them are in the under-recruited lenses in my eyes. In fact, I will say with confidence, that in my five years with PRZ, is in the most under the radar list I have ever made as not all, but so many of these prospects are on chart and should have cast a much wider net on their recruiting trail.

[player_tooltip player_id='383711' first='Noah' last='Moul'], LB, Fond Du Lac St. Mary's Springs, WI 2025 T,witter

Noah was a 6'2 220 pound linebacker that was an immediate grab as a prospect that looks the part of a next-level linebacker just based on the eye test alone. Noah intrigued me with how fluidily he could press downhill and find the ball carrier quickly. His footwork was also great with that great LB frame, as he showed us off some great instincts and its match to what his junior tape shows yet you can tell this young man has put in the work this offseason. Noah has an incredible amount of physicality when he makes every tackle and shows off what is likely a wrestler in the winter based on the technique he shows on contact. Noah is certainly under recruited in my eyes, with just one NSIC offer as I am very shocked that no others have joined the mix for Noah this summer yet. Also, a young man that impressed with his character from my first look at this 920 area code linebacker.

Caleb Chambers, LB, Fairmont, MN 2025 Twitter

Although Caleb came into NDSU as an undersized linebacker, the testing numbers trended well for this young man in Fargo as I saw the upside too he has later during Indy. Impressive 9'3 broad jump and where I felt he caught my eyes most was with his change of direction which recorded a 7.38 in the L-Drill and 4.44 in the pro agility showing me that this kid can get his COD and trail to the ball quickly. I have known for years that Fairmont has won a lot of games with how well tuned the Cardinals start off every summer in the weight room. Quick shedding hands and a good trigger to the ball shows me that Caleb would be a great small school fit at the next level either in the NAIA or Division III level wise.

[player_tooltip player_id='1209428' first='Conner' last='Roche'], RB, Columbus, WI 2025 Twitter

Another 920 prospect out of Wisconsin that flashed early at NDSU was 2025 running back [player_tooltip player_id='1209428' first='Conner' last='Roche'] of Columbus..His testing numbers across the board are excellent, and where I most impressed was in his pro agility as not only recorded a 4.3, but you could tell from a technique perspective this kid has it down well. Adding more to Conner's change of direction, he was one of very few that went inside 7 seconds in the L-Drill, getting a 6.85 and the explosiveness he certainly has too, recording a 10'3 at NDSU. The tape on Conner shows off similar traits to NDSU with his elusive instinct with his change of direction and I like the clear vision around the edges he has in the open field. One WIAC offer is all this young man has at the moment which is surprising as he is slightly undersized, but man, is he one you go slightly go off measurables for.

Maddax Ball, QB, Cody, WY 2025 Twitter

Maddax is another prospect we don't have a PRZ market for yet, but young men like this are the reason I am pushing to get one based on his performance at NDSU. Maddax from the eye test showed off great length, not only with his body type, but his length of stride as well and has a lot of athleticsm in his vertical I saw too. Later during Indy, Maddax showed off how versatile he is at the QB position, as I stated, athletically he shruck a chord and I was impressed with his three-level arm talent and great arm strength that all eval wise, has been found by one NSIC school so far. It may get repetitive with this list, but I mean everything I say when I say, that Maddax is highly under the radar out of Cody, Wyoming.

[player_tooltip player_id='1152910' first='Austin' last='Miller'], DL, Sioux Falls Jefferson, SD 2025 Twitter

Austin is a EDGE rusher that is one I haven't seen on my camp tour yet this summer, so I had to get the live-eval to see he his progession from 2023 as one of our top 10 overall prospects in SD. I liked the quickly developing hand instincts that I saw inside the FargoDome as Austin has certainly crafted with his attention to detail over the last several months. He also won a handful of reps too in Indy, which faired well at NDSU. In my eyes, from what I saw and with his massive 6'6 220 pound frame, that he hasn't gotten an offer in the Missouri Valley as I have him graded as a D1 fit that to me is significantly under the radar out of Sioux Falls Jefferson.

Chris King, DL, Mountain Iron-Buhl, MN 2025 Twitter

One fo the newest Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs commits, I felt left a great impression from our live-eval at NDSU. Multiples of Chris's skillets popped in my notebook, as the fiery and instinctive hips and motor he possessed were an immediate eye-grabber in his reps. Chris was another that won a handful of reps I watched in the FargoDome and did a consistent job winning them with his first step. Chris is a great add that still has plenty of upside to develop yet, which I believe the Bulldogs will groom his skillsets to a sound degree.

Tony Turner, DL/OL, Spring Lake Park, MN 2025 Twitter

Tony is a prospect that keeps appearing in my notebook at a couple camps this summer and although undersized, I like the frame a college football strength and conditioning program could do to grow this kid. I even felt from my live eval from the Minnesconsin MEGA Camp to NDSU, Tony has grown with what I saw in May, showing off great explosion in his lower body and man, does the rising football IQ show up in every rep I have watched. After a junior year that was lost due to injury, there is no doubt Tony is rehabbing swiftly and it certainly has shown this summer for the young man out of Spring Lake Park.

[player_tooltip player_id='1314654' first='Preston' last='Arndt'], DL, LaMoure-Litchville-Marion, ND 2027

A new name that has popped out into our 2027 North Dakota rankings and waitlist, that showed off a good upside for what he can do now and grow his skillsets over the next several years, is LLM defensive linemen [player_tooltip player_id='1314654' first='Preston' last='Arndt']. Loved how coachable this young man was gaining quick knowledge from the college coaches in attendance and popped out in his live-eval with great footwork too. He certainly has some frame he can develop with in the coming years, but Preston is on a good path in the 2027 that I will be watching his progression with his football future a small town prospect out of LaMoure-Litchville-Marion.

Sam Larson, OL, Bismarck, ND 2025 Twitter

Sam was one during Indy drills up in Fargo, that I was impressed with what he showed off during his reps. His best skillset to what I watched appeared with his footwork as he showed off great balance at NDSU. Sam also appeared as a prospect that at 6'2 300 pounds as caught eyes offer wise in the NSIC, as one that struck with his attention to the details from the coaching he received as I always am intrigued with any prospect that while waiting in line for their reps at camp, that works while waiting for their turn just outside the line with the new information they just received from coaching.

Rylan Gravos, OL/DL, East Grand Forks, MN 2025 Twitter

Besides being one of my favorite prospects in Minnesota from a character perspective, Rylan is another in Part IV standout that has brought his to a great level of play during a live camp eval on numerous occasions during my camp tours this summer across the Midwest. What stuck out for Rylan up at NDSU? The quick growth of his footwork grasped from coaching and I was quite impressed with the growth he has made even since the Minot State Big Man camp in May with his pad-level and growing more strength with his leverage. Rylan is a prospect that could play either side of the ball at the next-level and would be a huge boost to any college football locker room, as I don't throw the "one of the best characters in the state" card at just and every prospect I see. I have been able to tell too that Rylan truly loves the game of football no matter what position he plays or what he is doing at camps.

Aulain Penner, RB, Holy Cross, SK 2025 Twitter

I have been able to grasp for years the intuition from college coachs when they really like a prospect at camps, which was something I grasped from a few looks when watching Canadian 2025 running back Aulain Penner of Holy Cross in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. His smooth footwork in Indy drills certainly caused that draw I mentioned, as Aulain was another that worked the drill he was doing just out of line while he was waiting for his rep and from my eyes aced the rep due to that polishing attention to detail with his football IQ. He saw his performance pay off too with first NCAA offer and picked up a Canadian USports offer soon after that. The speed and change of direction faired very well in testing as the 5'8 189 pound tailback went 4.64 in the 40, 4.49 in the pro agility, and 7.20 in the L-drill which are are great for that sized running back. My gut also tells me that Aulain will pick up more steam in his recruiting trail from Canadian USports college football programs, as their recruiting calendar is much later on offers versus the NCAA's.

[player_tooltip player_id='1314732' first='Beckett' last='Price'], RB, Bismarck St. Mary's, ND 2027 Twitter

Beckett's showing at NDSU is a big reason why I feel this young man is one of the best running backs in North Dakota in our newly released 2027 class. Watching Beckett live during Indy drills in Fargo, showed a plethora of skillets that get me excited for this kid's football future. He checked my checks showing off good size and frame for his age. He possessed the speed to do the drill I watched very well and the balance with his footwork was on full display. I certainly can't wait to see what Beckett can do in the coming years, as his performance at NDSU put him off to a great start.

Luke Rissling, RB, Green Bay West, WI 2027

Another 2027 running back that flashed out to my eyes hailed was Green Bay West's Luke Rissling. I thought Luke was one of the best 2027 running backs overall I got to watch overall at NDSU from my scouting lense. His athleticism was quickly seen with watching his already quite instinctive athletic movement. Always have loved running backs that finish every rep strong in their drills, as Luke brought out the great footwork, sound burst and likely is one I can project with pads on, plays with good durability after contact. He certainly shows off that he has another gear of game speed and wore 5'7 210 very well for his age. Luke is one that I also liked the coachabiity and for sure his character for his age. Get this young man on Twitter!

[player_tooltip player_id='1309993' first='Brayden' last='Morris'], RB, Bismarck Century, ND 2026

Bismarck athletes have been thriving in our Part IV standouts, as [player_tooltip player_id='1309993' first='Brayden' last='Morris'] of Bismarck Century is another that fit that bill at NDSU. I liked what I saw out of the vision side for this Patriots running back and mixing it up with his good instincts with his footwork. Brayden also passed my eye test, as the 5'9 193 pounder showed off a sound frame for his age. Clearly the change of direction I saw in Indy drills, showed good translation in testing too, as his 7.44 L-Drill and 4.75 pro agility flash out as his top numbers I liked from Fargo a couple Saturdays ago.

If I had to dish one of the MVPs amongst the 2026 prospects I watched overall, my vote would go for Mukwonago linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1311432' first='Connor' last='Kreger']. I don't think I have ever seen a more man vs. boys linebacker at camp, than what I saw out of his reps against slightly small competition, as the 6'2 220 pounder was just so physicially dominating with excellent downhill vision, excellent change of direction and I would even take a page out of our Nebraska PRZ scouts book as adding Connor as a workout warrior. You know when a Division I linebacker coach gets pulled from another group to watch, good things are going to happen on this young man's recruiting upcoming. Everything I can grasp on Connor, who might I add put up great testing numbers as well at NDSU, allow me to grade Connor as a probable Division I grade incoming in Wisconsin's 2026 class.

Zeke sits at the top of my favorite linebackers I watched overall at NDSU, as this kid is a freak athlete and flashed some excellent skillsets. Greatness runs in Zeke's football family, as his brother Jack Strand was one of the best quarterbacks in all of Division II football last year. Watching Zeke's reps felt like when you crank up all the AI setting up to 100 in a game of Madden, as we just mentioned the most physical 2026 linebacker just a second ago, and Zeke gets that vote at NDSU in the 2025 class. Zeke possessed excellent instincts and his change of direction at that frame I mentioned is just so damaging to any ball carrier he went up against. Almost the whole NSIC has offered this kid and he picked up a PWO from Wisconsin. It might be late for that Division I offer to come in, but I have gut feeling a Missouri Valley offer is near for Zeke.

Great linebackers come in trios, as we unleash another 2025 linebacker that in my eyes was another one of the best out of my live evals at NDSU which was Waterloo West's Myles Garner. Although Myles is ranked in our top 40 in the state of Iowa, he somehow is trending mightly under the radar and should not be. Another 6'4 linebacker, Myles had me wondering during his reps what his wingspan would pop out to be if he was measured as he was very long, and knew how exactly how to use that length during Indy drills in Fargo. Myles is another LB prospect that aced in the physicality with my live eval and one that I felt was instinctive with his contact angles. Myles is one I would put in my offer yesterday category if I was a college football recruiter.

At this point in July, I am absolutely shocked that one of North Dakota's hardest hitters LLM's [player_tooltip player_id='1185260' first='Owen' last='Lesko'], does not have one offer as he impressed me at NDSU. Showed off how well he could use his length in the reps I watched and also did test pretty well from where I stood watching him during testing. Owen is a defined downhill pummeler that also possesses great range at 6'1 215 pounds. Owen also has great character which he added to his resume at NDSU so I just am stumped why this linebacker is so under-recruited as he know painting a picture of a small-town hidden gem that should should have offer weeks ago. The [player_tooltip player_id='1185260' first='Owen' last='Lesko'] stock is still good in my eyes for sure.
