. I have been a fan of his versatility for a long time. Connor is an athlete who can play off the edge or off the ball OLB. Because of that I believe he could have attended either session and been a top performer, but it was great to see him at Session II so we could see him in space. He started the day strong showing off his short area burst and agility running a 7.21 L-Drill, 4.43 shuttle and broad jumping 8’11”. That short area burst really shined in the 1v1 run game reps where he covered ground quickly, closed with the proper leverage, and go to the ball quickly before the RB could make a move. The 2026 was another athlete who was able to leave with an offer from the Warhawks following his performance.

One of the state’s best edge defenders is looking for that first offer. The versatility that the 2026 edge/OLB brings to the field is very intriguing. Having a chess piece that you can move out to the slot, rush off the edge, or play off-ball OLB would be a huge advantage for a DC. Connor shows off excellent range and a strong base of instincts that work together to get him around the field in time to make key plays/stops. Connor is more than just an athlete at the LB position, though. He is a stout edge setting run defender and has shown that he can shed blocks very efficiently on his way to the football to make tackles. Kreger is a physical, tone setting LB with the athleticism to play all three downs at the next level.

The junior LB out of Mukwonago is back and better than ever. Connor is an impressive athlete for the LB position. In coverage he easily slides, drops, or attacks downhill with easy changes of direction. He can be trusted to drop into coverage. Kreger is also effective on the attack. He flies off the edge with a solid first step and he has the range and closing speed to chase down QBs. Connor is an exciting chess piece that can do a lot of things for a defensive coordinator. Check out the film and make sure you have him on your boards.
