His solid play helped the Trotwood-Madison Rams to an 8-win season where they held opposing offenses to 16.9 points per game. He plays as an EDGE. Against the pass, he shows great use of hands winning battles with his hands inside before disengaging. He plays with a very good motor in pursuit before finishing up with a sack. Against the run, he is quick off the ball and quickly penetrates the LOS before using his great football intelligence to read play action and effectively locates the RB. His excellent play helped the Mason Comets to an 8-win season where they advanced to the 4th round of the playoffs and held opposing offenses to 18.6 points per game. He plays as a DT. Against the run, he is very strong at the point of attack as he easily overpowers the OG before disengaging. He locates the ballcarrier in the backfield before making the tackle for a TFL. Against the pass, he uses his outstanding combination of play strength and hand use as he easily defeats the OG. Against the run, he fires out low before using his very good play strength to disengage. He locates the RB and makes the tackle near the LOS preventing a gain of significant yardage. Against the pass, he is very aggressive at the point of attack as he executes a bullrush before disengaging. Against the run, he fires off the ball and shows good lateral quickness and agility as he defends the inside run and delivers a powerful hit near the LOS. Against the pass, he is very quick off the ball and possesses active hands as he easily sheds the block from the OG.
