Eckley had a very good Sophomore season in 2023. His great play helped the Hamilton Big Blue to an 8-win season where they advanced to the 2nd round of the playoffs and held opposing offenses to 17.2 points per game. He plays as a NT and DE. Against the run, he fires out low before using his very good play strength to disengage. He locates the RB and makes the tackle near the LOS preventing a gain of significant yardage. Against the pass, he is very aggressive at the point of attack as he executes a bullrush before disengaging. He is quick in pursuit before finishing up with a sack.
