Strong defensive lineman. Has played both inside and DE. Very good v. The run, could add more weight and be a run plugger at DT. Adequate first step. Good pursuit and chase. College fit strikes me more as an inside DL.

Dominic played well as a Sophomore in 2023. His very good play was a bright spot in the 2-8 season of the Centennial Stars. He plays as a DT. Against the run, he is quick off the ball and quickly penetrates the LOS before using his great football intelligence to read play action and effectively locates the RB. He shows good play speed and instincts in pursuit before making the tackle behind the LOS for a TFL.

Winton is a young man that came to our Stock Up Showcase in January and promptly won the defensive line MVP. At 6’3 280 Dominic has a good frame and wears his weight well. He plays with a good pad level and can overwhelm blockers with his strength and burst. Once he beats his man, he shows good awareness and athleticism to find and pursue to the ball. With a good camp season Winton will have a chance to start getting on the radar of college programs.
