Lawrence was a must-add for this update. A bit of a late-bloomer, Lawrence has garnered a ton of Division 1 attention over the past few months. Tyler and I first watched Lawrence at the MHSAA Camp in Brighton. There, Lawrence immediately turned heads from his size, length, and advertised athleticism. Late in the camp, Lawrence proved his fundamental prowess in addition to being able to throw the football to any part of the field. In addition, he threw the ball with way better anticipation and accuracy than most, considering he was throwing to random WRs. Central Michigan jumped on Lawrence early, and the Chippewas have a prime QB prospect who is likely to have a phenomenal senior season.

I’ve discussed Hunter at length several times in the past month and a half. The fact of the matter is that if Hunter or I never went to the MHSAA Camp in Farmington, he wouldn’t be on the rankings. I’m extremely glad he came because he outperformed several starting OAA Quarterbacks. Hunter immediately impressed with by-far the best accuracy during basic drills (catch, throwing hitch, etc). Later at camp, Hunter demonstrated incredibly impressive accuracy deep downfield, and limited his mistakes against some GREAT Defensive Backs. Hunter may not have the IQ or experience, but as a talent, I’d recommend him to any NAIA or D3 program.

Connor is coming off a solid 2023 season, and he’s proven enough skill to be a MIAA prospect. At his best Connor stands in the pocket and fires the ball to his first read, like a great pro-style QB. At times, Connor can struggle with decision-making, pocket presence, and off-schedule playmaking. Even so, there are major flashes in all three areas I just mentioned. The key to Connor’s development moving forward will be consistency. With a great, consistent season against some of the best defenses in West Michigan, Connor could be a late-bloomer GLIAC prospect. Though right now, he’s ranked as a solid D3 prospect.

Although I view Luke as a Division 3 prospect, I wouldn’t be surprised if a breakout senior season propels him to D2 offers. First off, you’ve got to love the 6’5″ 205lb size.
Luke is a pro-style QB with a lot of potential but is generally raw. I believe Luke’s strengths lie in his deep ball and quick decision-making. There are several occasions where Luke tosses accurate deep balls, converting an explosive play. Better yet, Luke demonstrates an ability to throw quicky to his first read. He needs better consistency in that area, but I’m glad he does his best to get the ball out quickly. Moving forward, I’d love Luke to develop better IQ and consistency. For IQ, that’ll come with a lot of reps, coaching, and film study. Consistency will come with reps, and cleaning up his fundamentals.

Nathan’s film reminds me quite a bit of Luke, who I evaluated above.
All in all, Nathan showed many promising abilities last season. I especially like his play-action game and arm talent. During play action, Nathan rolls out and tends to go for the deep ball. There, he demonstrates an above-average ability to throw on the run. Cycling back, Nathan can’t make a lot of these throws without his above-average arm talent. Moving forward, I’d love to see more on-time throws with, like most QBs, better consistency.

Krolak is a very unique quarterback on this list. Where he lacks in size, he makes up for it with excellent game management and good dual-threat ability. Besides Lawrence, Joseph is the best dual-threat on this list. Sometimes, Joseph goes off-script and scrambles. He’s not an elite athlete per se, but his feet can give the offense a first down more often than not. There are several other moments where Joseph makes plays with the designed QB run.
As for passing, Joseph is a patient passer who’s great at finding the open man deep downfield. Because of the Carlson scheme and the opponents defense, his receivers find themselves open downfield quite a bit. When that happens, Joseph does a great job of delivering a catchable ball. There are other times where Joseph does well in quick game, passing to slants or quick outs. In the short game, Joseph slings the ball with good precision and power. The one glaring issue I have is I don’t think Jospeh is the most accurate QB. He’s above-average in that regard, but to be recruited, he needs to improve his accuracy in addition.

Although Julian’s film is short, he showed good flashes, and I’m confident in his development at Farmington.
Last season, Julian served as a very serviceable quarterback. Although his film is short, it does show a variety of concepts and plays. At 0:37, Julian rolls to his right before accurately converting a difficult out-route on the run. The very next play, he rolls to his left before throwing cross-body over linebackers to a receiver right at the sticks. Other plays show decent pocket passing, serviceable athleticism, and an overall high upside. This is mostly a projection ranking, and I am projecting Julian to be a good quarterback this season.

Ben is a very similar Quarterback to Julian, who is listed above.
Like Julian, Ben had a productive varsity season, and I fully expect him to build off of his 2023 campaign. In 2023, he served as a good game manager on a team full of offensive weapons. A pro-style quarterback, Ben demonstrates a good ability to throw on time to his first read. Whether it’s deep downfield or a quick pass over the middle, Ben has good throw power with passable accuracy. That said, he’ll need to improve on his accuracy, fundamentals, and show more confidence passing the football this fall. If he can do that, he’ll be a college prospect.

Skyler is the most unique Quarterback addition to the rankings. Last season, he served as a gadget player at De La Salle. This season, he looks to fight for the starting QB job at DCC. Tyler Graham had the chance to watch Skyler back in April at the Prep Redzone Hoosier State Hustle. There, Skyler demonstrated a quick release, great accuracy, and even some advanced pump-fakes to get the defender off of his target. I hope to see Skyler have similar success this coming season. If he does, he’ll earn a rankings boost.

I’m surprised by just how much I like Noah Long Noah Long 6'3" | 215 lbs | QB Greenville | 2025 State MI ‘s tape. At one of the less successful programs in Michigan, Nolan was able to lead the offense to a few victories. His highlight tape shows great arm talent in addition to a few extremely impressive passes. More often than not, Nolan’s highlights consist of him throwing a quick, accurate pass to an open receiver. He’s able to quickly attack the middle of the field and boundaries with great throw power and accuracy. There are other moments where Nolan throws off-schedule just over a defender for a big play. It looks like Nolan sees the field extremely well, and he could earn a rankings boost with a good season in the River Cities Alliance.
Highlights
Pratt has done well at small-school Armada. Generally, Lucas is a raw Quarterback prospect with ideal size and good arm talent. Most of his tape showcases Lucas rolling out, throwing downfield, and making off-schedule plays. For Armada, Lucas is a massive asset, and one of the best small-school senior Qbs. Though, he needs to develop way better all-around consistency to become a college prospect.
Highlights
Lastly, we have someone I discovered just a week ago. I really, really like Caleb’s film and I believe he’ll be a late-bloomer college prospect. Caleb, a southpaw, excels at scrambling and converting off-schedule plays. Much of the film shows Caleb evading pressure and tossing the ball deep downfield, leading to an explosive play. There are other instances where Caleb stands in the pocket and delivers an accurate, powerful pass to his receiver. He also has great throw on the run and overall instincts.
The thing holding him back the most is college upside. Most colleges want a quarterback who demonstrates the ability to stand strong in the pocket and deliver consistent, accurate passes. Caleb is great for what he is- a dynamic playmaker with a big arm. Though, needs to demonstrate success in other areas for colleges to pull the trigger.
