The 5'10”/165 DB produced a strong freshman season on varsity with 60 total tackles and 3 INTs last fall. He's a versatile nickel/S that showed instincts and ball skills in coverage as a deep safety and flashed aggressiveness as a tackler around the edge of the box. He can cover the slot with quick change-of-direction and sharp angles of attack. He's a big-body WR at 6'3”/180 that could develop into a matchup problem on the perimeter with the size, strength, and body control he's shown in 1v1s and 7v7s. He possesses the length to extend over smaller DBs, competes at the highest point, and snatches the ball out of the air with strong hands. He was a standout DB for Shadow Ridge's JV squad last year and has continued to show his playmaking ability this offseason, now with varsity. He's a smooth, athletic S that shows speed in his backpedal and the ball skills to make plays in coverage. He possesses disruptive length over the middle of the field (5'11”/160) and has shown quality hands at WR. He shows good control of his lengthy frame at 6'2”/160 that should present some upside in the secondary as he continues to develop.
