2026 Prospects New to the Top 150 (Pt. 2)

The 2026 rankings have grown by 25 since our Spring Update as 150 of the best 2026 prospects in West Virginia are now represented on our site. Here are the new prospects who made their debut in the 2026 summer rankings update inside of the Top 150.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">NEW TO THE TOP 150</h2>    You may be more familiar with 2026 Pendleton County WR [player_tooltip player_id='1137709' first='Chase' last='Owens'] from his prowess on the basketball court, but his football ability should not be overlooked either. Owens totaled just under 700 yards and 7 touchdowns as a sophomore for the Wildcats as a WR and RB and earned WVSWA Class A Honorable Mention All-State honors in 2023. Owens is a thickly built athlete at 6'0 195 whose size may better fit at running back long term but debuts as a Top 25 WR in the 2026 class for now. Owens is a natural athlete with good speed and playmaking ability in any sport he plays. He's still raw as a route runner and looks more natural as a running back, but Owens has the athleticism to further develop in that area.   We love including small school players in our rankings when appropriate, and Owens deserved some notoriety for his play on the football field.      We just recently broke down 2026 Brooke K [player_tooltip player_id='894629' first='Rocco' last='Sacripanti']'s game in our <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2024/06/2024-wv-team-preview-brooke-bruins/">2024 Brooke Bruins Team Preview</a> and he now makes his debut as a Top 5 kicker in the 2026 class. This is a bet on him to continue developing and showing us more once he likely takes over all kicking duties as a senior in 2025 and expanding on his current PAT role behind one of the best kickers in the 2025 class [player_tooltip player_id='1126262' first='Chase' last='Hile']. Sacripanti has shown the early signs of potential to develop into one of the top kicker prospects in this class but will have some tough competition to maintain this high ranking over the next two years. He has the mechanics to reach his potential as he continues getting bigger and stronger to expand his range and improve leg strength in time.   Sacripanti is a prospect to monitor over the next two seasons to see if he can develop into a scholarship-level specialist by the time he's a senior.      We got eyes on 2026 East Fairmont OL [player_tooltip player_id='1138215' first='Ryder' last='Fellows'] at our Combine event back in May and are now getting him placed in the rankings as a Top 25 offensive lineman in the class. Fellows is a very big young athlete at 6'1 325 and has an early advantage in the size department compared to most fellow 2026 offensive linemen. He'll need to continue making strides with his athleticism and flexibility over the next two years, and if he can do that, he has the potential to greatly raise his ceiling as a prospect. Fellows can be a people mover at guard and showed that as a sophomore last season for the Bees on varsity. He can develop into a very solid run-blocking guard who can create a lot of space for his running backs.   If Fellows can improve his footwork, bend, and general athleticism, he has the potential to climb much higher in the 2026 rankings and as a college prospect.      Size is the one trait that keeps 2026 Scott DL [player_tooltip player_id='1237591' first='Mason' last='Brown'] lower in the rankings for now, but is a talented and productive player for the Skyhawks. Brown totaled 55 tackles, 11 TFLs, and 2 sacks as a sophomore last season and may be flying under the radar compared to some of his other highly touted teammates. He has the potential to eventually be considered an OLB prospect depending on how athletic he is at his size but debuts in the Top 150 as a defensive lineman for now. Brown plays much bigger than his listed size and holds up well against bigger offensive linemen. Brown is a tough physical player who plays with a high motor and pursues the ball well. He's a tough matchup for high school offensive linemen because of his size and quickness and beats his man inside consistently.   We'll be monitoring how much more he grows physically to determine his ceiling as a prospect and potential as a LB prospect, but Brown's play on the field warranted a placement among the Top 150 at the stage.      2026 Roane County OL [player_tooltip player_id='894970' first='Hogan' last='Greathouse'] was close to being ranked in the spring update and now makes his debut inside of the Top 150 and just outside of the Top 25 offensive linemen in the class. He's a bit undersized at this stage at 6'0 240, but is a strong athlete which shows up on film. Greathouse is a physical run blocker in the Beavers' Wing-T system with a stout base and a strong upper body. He's shown the ability to pull at guard but is strong when man-blocking with a defensive lineman lined up over him. Greathouse is a talented 1-on-1 blocker who is difficult to beat at the Class AA level. Greathouse also does a nice job finishing blocks until the whistle and created 21 pancakes as a sophomore last season.   If he can continue getting bigger and quicker his ceiling will rise as a prospect and in our rankings.      2026 Clay County Kicker [player_tooltip player_id='1133948' first='Jaxon' last='Brown'] has some solid potential as a college kicking prospect and is continuing to get better. Brown has good size for the position at 6'0 190 that he can continue to fully utilize for his leg strength. He handled all kicking duties for the Panthers last season and was a reliable and consistent weapon on special teams for them. Brown converted on 46/50 PATs and was perfect on both field goal attempts with a long of 37 yards. He was also their kickoff man and averaged 40 yards per kick which is an area he can continue to grow in and boost his power. Brown has good bell height on his kicks and can improve his power with more speed in his mechanics.   Brown is an underrated 2026 specialist to know for the next two seasons and has the potential to increase his ceiling as a prospect if he continues developing.      [player_tooltip player_id='1137701' first='Wyatt' last='Cline'] was another participant at our Combine in May and tested well after showing some good things as a sophomore for the state runner-up Tigers in 2023. Cline should have a bigger role in the offense this season after catching 15 passes for 272 yards and 2 touchdowns last season with the graduation of a nearly 2,000-yard receiver. Cline ran a 4.79 40, 4.2 pro shuttle, and 7.2 L Drill at our camp showcasing some high-level athleticism for his age and obvious potential as a receiver prospect. There's limited game film of him to evaluate right now but from seeing him live in person with the raw athleticism he has, Cline should be able to see increased opportunities this season and put more on film moving forward.   He debuts just outside of the WR Top 25 but could move up in the future depending on the film available.      2026 Frankfort Kicker [player_tooltip player_id='866260' first='Rhett' last='Sensabaugh'] is progressing well as a specialist prospect for the Falcons and continuing to improve. He's a bit more raw mechanically than some other specialists in this class but has the potential to kick at the next level if he keeps a steady trajectory of improvement. We're betting on him to do that as the current #6 kicker in the 2026 class rankings while watching him on social media put in the work over this off-season. Sensabaugh strikes the ball well when his mechanics are fluid and just needs to keep being consistent operationally. He made a nice jump from his freshman to sophomore season and we're expecting a bigger jump heading into his junior year.   If Sensabaugh can keep improving he'll finish as a Top 10 specialist in the 2026 class and will have some college opportunities in the future.   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/CoachMacKicking/status/1809996816127242636 </div></figure>
