2026 Pendleton County ATH Chase Owens Chase Owens 6'0" | 195 lbs | ATH Pendleton County | 2026 State WV has been a very good player for the Wildcats during his career and has definite next-level ability. He’s physically put together at 6’0 195, and has shown he can impact the game at receiver, running back, and linebacker. Owens’ frame suggests he settles in at linebacker in college if he wishes to continue playing, but his offensive numbers have been impressive as well, with potential to make a mark there at the next level.

You may be more familiar with 2026 Pendleton County WR Chase Owens Chase Owens 6'0" | 195 lbs | ATH Pendleton County | 2026 State WV from his prowess on the basketball court, but his football ability should not be overlooked either. Owens totaled just under 700 yards and 7 touchdowns as a sophomore for the Wildcats as a WR and RB and earned WVSWA Class A Honorable Mention All-State honors in 2023. Owens is a thickly built athlete at 6’0 195 whose size may better fit at running back long term but debuts as a Top 25 WR in the 2026 class for now. Owens is a natural athlete with good speed and playmaking ability in any sport he plays. He’s still raw as a route runner and looks more natural as a running back, but Owens has the athleticism to further develop in that area.
We love including small school players in our rankings when appropriate, and Owens deserved some notoriety for his play on the football field.
