Virginia 2027 Rankings Initial Thoughts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hello again, as you may have seen we unveiled our new 2027 rankings which is ready for viewing. We have over 300 names in this group with a lot of potential similar to the 2025 and 26 classes. I have some initial thoughts that I wanted to share:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul><!-- wp:list-item --> <li>When we post rankings there are always both positive and negative reactions its the nature of our business. One young man who is still in the fold and grind is linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='734908' first='Erik' last='Nelson'], checking in 16th overall and 2nd for his position. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As a freshman in a tough Cardinal District, Nelson stepped in almost immediately racking in 64 tackles. He has size and very good speed, I like the way he covers backs you do not see that often for his age group. With the departure of standout safety [player_tooltip player_id='1297880' first='Tyson' last='Woods'], it will be interesting to see how he takes on more of a leadership role this fall. I saw Hill play in person a few times last year and the hype is real for this dude trust me. He is 6'4 and 180 pounds with a cannon, wait till the Vikings offense comes along and then will really see what he can do. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Watching him make throws on the run look so effortlessly you can see the talent is their for him to become one of the best quarterbacks in Virginia.
