Today, I'm taking a look at some of the up-and-coming prospects from 4A Division 2. These guys are 2026 prospects or younger and already stood out at the varsity level as sophomores. Some have already picked up offers, while others are still flying under the radar. I will be keeping an eye on them as they venture through the 2024 season.

WR: Bugg Kemp, 6'4" 205, Gainesville, 2026

A long athletic prospect with quick footwork, make you miss ability after the catch and deceptive speed. He can easily track deep shot throws & go up and climb the ladder. He's got the body control to adjust to back-shoulder throws and can create late separation downfield.

OL: [player_tooltip player_id='1561893' first='Vershaunndrick' last='Smith'], 6'4" 310, Lubbock Estacado, 2027

Smith has some serious pop at the point of attack and can generate knockdowns with a simple punch. He redirects well laterally in pass protection, keeps his feet moving through initial contact, and plays with a bit of an edge to him. He's got to work on his bend, but I like where his game is headed.

DL: Julien Quinones, 6'5" 220, Gainesville, 2026

Julien has a projectable frame, long arms that help him fight off interior blocks in the run game, and plays with consistently low pads. If he can show more production as a pass rusher, the offers are going to come.

DL: [player_tooltip player_id='1204802' first='Kaden' last='Scott'] 6'2" 230, Gainesville, 2026

Kaden is an extremely slippery prospect with a great first step and instant penetration capabilities. He had quality production as a sophomore finishing with 7 sacks, he showed that he can drop his hips & dip around the edge and will keep his shoulders square to the line if left unblocked on the outside.

WR: [player_tooltip player_id='1517034' first='Raja' last='Garza-Adams'], 6'1" 170, Jasper, 2026

An explosive deep threat with a whole bag of releases to beat press coverage. He's got exceptional leaping ability and the concentration to go with it. He has the speed to run under the nine route, he can track the deep ball over the shoulder, and can drop his hips and stop on a dime.

OL: Wyatt Smith, 6'3" 255, Jasper, 2026

A center prospect that plays nasty and looks to finish off every block through the echo of the whistle. He does a good job rolling his hips and punching on a rise, he fights for inside hand placement on the breastplate and is constantly looking for more work.
