Prep Redzone has the details...

[player_tooltip player_id='908935' first='Kaiden' last='Prothro'] - TE - Bowdon

A lean, athletic tight end who plays the position like a receiver, Prothro is one of the top 2026 playmakers across the state with excellent size and outstanding hands at 6-foot-6 200-pounds. His recruitment has taken off this spring, and he earned a new giant offer this week from the Ohio State Buckeyes after a one-day camp in Columbus in front of the Buckeye staff. He moves well for his size, can create separation down the field, and is physical enough to handle defender in the run game. He brings a dynamic skillset and is one of the top pass-catching tight ends in Georgia. He can line up as a traditional tight end with the ability to line up outside in man coverage on the perimeter. A jump-ball option and a weapon in the red-zone, it's easy to see why Prothro has the offer this that he does. Ranked as the No. 16 overall prospect in the state for the 2027 class Prothro is coming off an impressive sophomore season where he caught a team-leading 33 passes for 831 yards and 13 touchdowns, averaging an eye-opening 25 yards per catch. More importantly, he helped lead his Bowdon team to a second consecutive state championship.

[player_tooltip player_id='675043' first='Camron' last='Brooks'] - EDGE - Thomas County Central

One of the top pass-rushing outside linebackers not only in South Georgia, but across the state in the 2025 class, Brooks is a physically gifted sophomore with a lengthy 6-foot-4 225-pound frame with sky-high potential at the next level off the edge. Ranked as the No. 12 overall prospect in the state, Brooks already has an impressive offer list at his age, and now he's earned another major offer from the Ohio State Buckeyes. Not only can he attack the quarterback, but he's more than strong enough to hold his own, break off tackles, and has enough speed to run down the ball-carrier against the run. This promising defender is coming off a gigantic sophomore season where he made 8.5 sacks and 12 TFLs. More importantly, he led his Thomas County Central team to a big 6A state title. His potential and natural athleticism is easy to notice, and if he continues to develop the right way, he's bound for massive junior and senior season for the Yellow Jackets over the next two years.

[player_tooltip player_id='1319913' first='Zach' last='Weeks'] - LB - Oconee County

An Athens-area linebacker bound for a big boost in the next 2026 Prep Redzone update, Weeks is a tough, instinctive linebacker who can run, hit, and knows how to wrap up properly. A defender on the rise with good size at 6-foot-2 210-pounds, Weeks is a physical, hard-hitting defender who has a knack for avoiding blocks and running down the ball-carrier. He moves well in space, can dissect the play, and then attacks. Last as a sophomore, Weeks was one of the more productive 2026 linebackers in the area and across the 3A classification, making 102 tackles in less than 11 games with one sack and one forced fumble. He has a true nose for the football. He'll likely light up the stat sheet again as a junior, and this week he earned a new major offer form the Ohio State Buckeyes. His stock is on the rise, and new offers should continue coming his way sooner than later.
