I have already covered Tight Ends 1-5 and 6-10 in my previous articles. This article finished out the Tight End rankings covering ranks 11-13 plus the Tight Ends to know on our Watch List. Follow Prep Redzone Virginia for continual coverage of this class of prospects.
Solid height and very good size. Solid athletic ability displaying good explosiveness, balance, acceleration, and foot speed, with solid lateral agility, and change of direction. Plays a hybrid TE/H-Back role. Shows good run blocking, able to lead block from the H-Back position, and engages with good explosiveness and leg drive to kick out defenders. Can line up as an inline TE and run Gap and Zone blocking schemes. Has the athleticism to make open field blocks on linebackers and DBs and sustain them for the ball carrier. Shows solid receiving ability with solid routes and good hands on a basic route tree.
Highlights
Jackson lines up as a WR for his team. Displays solid athletic ability with very good balance, and solid acceleration, foot speed, change of direction, and lateral agility. Solid route runner, displaying good processing to find the hole in the coverage and create an open target for the QB. Solid adjust to the throws and displaying solid hands. Plays with good physical toughness and run strength after the catch with a willingness to lower his shoulder through contact to create extra yards on the play. Shows a willingness to block downfield with the ability to sustain the block. Also played defensive end, showing good lower body strength to anchor himself and hold the edge in run defense, with good tackling. Overall, he has DII upside and I believe he could develop himself to include the H-Back role in his game due to his good physical toughness and willingness to block and take on contact in addition to playing as a flexed-out receiver.
Highlights
George plays Right Tackle for his team, and I project him to either play as a blocking TE or as an interior offensive lineman at the next level. Shows solid athletic ability with very good explosiveness, good acceleration, foot quickness, lateral agility, and bend with solid change of direction and foot speed. He is a very good Gap blocker, showing good bend and explosiveness off the ball into the point of attack, with very good leg drive and block sustain, keeping good leverage and hand positioning on the block. Shows ability to Pull with good lateral movement. Has the athleticism to get to the second level and block LBs and Safeties in the open field with good sustain. No pass protection or Zone blocking reps viewed on film. We project him having DII upside with his athleticism and potential position flexibility, but he will need to add some muscle mass to play at the next level.

Watch List Players
Players on our Watch List either have no updated film or not enough film to give a full evaluation. Nonetheless, they are players to know moving forward and they will be ranked in the future if film is updated.
Keegan has no updated Hudl film from last season and is on our Watch List. However, if you scroll through his X page, you will see he is not going unnoticed. He has elite height for the Tight End position and very good size. Viewing his 7v7 reps on X, he is a fluid runner and moves very well. Do not think his size relegates him to being a blocking TE only, he has very good ability in the receiving game. I expect big things from Keegan this year, and if we see an updated highlight film covering the 2024 season, I would not be shocked to see him jump high into our rankings. He is not someone you want to overlook. Carl wrote about him previously which you can read here.
Highlights
Reese played as an Offensive Guard during his freshman and sophomore seasons at Riverbend. Ranked as a TE but will likely be an OL in our updated rankings next year, and if he is on the Varsity field, expect him to be ranked. According to his X Account bio, he is currently at 250lbs. His freshman and sophomore film shows he can play in Gap and Zone run schemes and is trusted in Pass Protections.
Hugh is listed as a TE and Punter for Trinity Episcopal, but this past season’s film shows his Punting highlights. Nonetheless, he has good height and size for the TE position, and I would not be shocked to see him playing at TE over the next two seasons. But you do not want to miss his punting highlights. His freshman season film does show him at TE, but with no film reps from this past season, we have placed Hugh on the Watch List.
Highlights
We have placed Mason on the Watch List because he does not have a full season highlight reel on Hudl. There are individual play highlights from various games from this past season to view and does have varsity reps. Based on what is seen in the individual plays, you can expect him to be ranked in next year’s update if he has enough film to evaluate.
Highlights
Mason has no film from last season. There is a freshman highlight tape on Hudl to view where he does show some good ability in the receiving game in addition to playing Linebacker. Carl has featured him previously which you can view here. If his game has developed, and we see highlights from the 2024 season, you will see him ranked in next year’s update as there is a lot to like in his freshman film.
