(TE) [player_tooltip player_id='1102361' first='Wils' last='Jackson'] - Franklin

- Jackson was near unstoppable at the Racers 7v7 tourney on Wednesday. The Admirals 6 '5 tight end displayed a variety of skills that turned heads from not just the spectators in attendance but the Murray St. coaching staff as well. Jackson was placed in multiple spots on offense, including at the “X” and “Y” positions where he stretched the field using his speed and made some spectacular catches that resulted in touchdowns. His mismatch abilities were a problem for the opposition where defenders could not keep up with his speed or size. Jackson definitely helped himself in Murray and probably earned a future offer but also continued to boost his stock as one of the better hidden gems we have in the #TN2025 class.

(Ath) [player_tooltip player_id='1310950' first='Gabe' last='Borders'] - Macon Co.

- One of the more pleasant surprises at Wednesday's tournament in Murray, Kentucky was this Mid-TN under the radar talent who helped lead his Tigers team to a title game victory. Borders is a natural athlete that handles the quarterback roles for his Macon Co. team but translates best to college at either running back, slot receiver or safety. His versatile skill set was on full display Wednesday as opposing defenses had a hard time keeping up with his athleticism. Borders might develop even more so on defense at safety in college due to his ability to run and find the ball on a consistent basis. This is a bonafide playmaker to follow this Fall as Borders has a great shot at competing for Class 4A Mr. Football while taking his Tigers team on a deep playoff run.

(Ath) Ke'Derean Fletcher - Riverdale

- This new Warriors performer had himself a great day up in Kentucky at the Murray St. 7v7 tournament on Wednesday where he displayed playmaking abilities on both sides of the ball with his receiving skills standing out the most. Fletcher increased his stock in my eyes by using his size and physicality to get open while displaying strong hands with defenders clawing at the pass. Fletcher is a tall and long young man that could develop at both receiver or safety on the collegiate gridiron. His play at Murray showed upside to remain on offense (The Racers offered Fletcher at WR) in college but to stay there, Fletcher must continue working on his explosion off the snap and his overall speed. It will be interesting to see how this 6'2 athlete develops over the next few months to see which side of the ball may fit him best.

(WR) [player_tooltip player_id='1142025' first='Kenneth' last='Holt'] - White House

- Holt has stayed under the radar this entire 2024 recruiting process but every time I've seen him step on field, all he has done is produce at a high level and that's what he did on Wednesday at the Murray St. 7v7 tournament. Defenders had a hard time keeping up with White House playmaker as his speed was a problem but so was his quickness after the catch. Holt either found his way into the end zone or picked up big 1st down receptions consistently throughout the day. His game allows him to beat people deep or run those intermediate routes then use his speed to separate. Holt is a bit undersized but that doesn't matter as he plays much bigger with a fearless and humble attitude that would work well inside any college locker room.

(TE) [player_tooltip player_id='466271' first='Wes' last='Harper'] - Davidson Academy

- All this guy has done throughout the off-season is perform at a high level at each and every event Harper has been a part of and it remained the same up at Murray St. for their 7v7 tournament on Wednesday. A safety net for his quarterback at Murray, Harper hauled in everything thrown his way while displaying excellent route running abilities for a tight end that can flex out into the slot. The Bears senior pass catcher had a consistent day up in the Bluegrass State where he remained a top target throughout the tournament and came up with some clutch receptions when they were needed. Harper is still waiting for that recruiting door to be swung open but he has definitely earned the looks with a stellar off-season that continued in front of college coaches on Wednesday.

One Extra ……

‘27 (QB) [player_tooltip player_id='866735' first='Donte' last='Cameron'] - Riverdale

- Tough call between Cameron and another Riverdale performer for this last spot but I had to go with the Warriors rising sophomore quarterback, who made some big time throws on Wednesday that shows college upside. What I liked most about Cameron was his poise during tough stretches in games where he made some clutch throws, including several deep balls that were precise. The Warriors signal caller showed good arm strength that will only get stronger as he matures along with excellent accuracy. Cameron still has work to do with his body and overall size but the skill set and arm talent are there to develop into a college level prospect over the next three years.
