A product of The Hun School, Seth Clarke Seth Clarke 6'2" | 235 lbs | DL The Hun School | 2026 NJ ‘s recruitment has picked up steam as of late. Prior to getting what appears to be his first Power 5 offer from Rutgers, the rising junior also racked up a number of offers from programs including Maine, Wagner, Stony Brook, Fordham, and New Hampshire. An ascension imminent, fully expect more Power 5 offers to roll in.

While Clarke makes some noise on the defensive side of the ball in terms of recruiting, Hun teammate Jack Moran Jack Moran 6'5" | 225 lbs | QB The Hun School | 2025 NJ does the same for offense. Moran, who possesses ideal size for a quarterback at any level, earned a scholarship offer from UMass a short while back. In addition to the Minutemen, Charlotte, Old Dominion, Temple, Marshall, East Carolina, UConn, and Maryland are all clamoring for Moran’s services.

Salute to this young man. As Coach Dominique Gaston continues to sculpt the shape of Pope John, the outstanding play and character of players like Wes Johnston Wes Johnston 6'3" | 195 lbs | DB Pope John | 2026 NJ seem like prime examples of type of men he Gaston wishes to build. With two seasons yet to play, Johnston, an outstanding defensive back, is has pledge his commitment to Army.
As a defensive line coach myself, Brandon Simmons Jr. Brandon Simmons Jr. 6'2" | 260 lbs | DL Glassboro | 2026 State NJ is one of my favorite prospects in the state. If you follow my coverage, I think this probably radiates through. Simmons’ recruitment saw a serious up-tick in May. UConn is the latest university to join the pursuit of this d-line prospect who can probably play anywhere in a front. The Huskies have joined Charlotte, West Virginia, Pitt, Akron, Miami, and Temple in hopes to court the 2026 graduate.
The months of April and May have been very kind to the Don Bosco Ironmen. Another quality prospect who made some noise this spring has been Pedro Valdes Pedro Valdes 6'0" | 270 lbs | OL Don Bosco | 2025 NJ . Valdes, a prospect I have not yet had the opportunity to watch film on yet, seems like a solid one. So much so that St. Anslem College popped his offer cherry, being the first collegiate institution formally extend an offer to Valdes. Congrats and many more to come!
