Following my breakdown of some stockrising 2026s, here’s my list of the most intriguing 2027 standouts.
In the first place spot on my list is Jaquise Smith, a defensive lineman at South Warren High School. Smith has been on my radar for a while as his great size and execution make him dangerous at the line of scrimmage. Smith proved his ability to read the offensive line and utilize his physicality to win his one-on-ones in the pocket. I also liked how Smith could use his arms to wrap up the offense.

What made Howard so explosive was his outstanding height and wingspan, showcasing his ability to overwhelm his opponent down the stretch. I also liked how Howard could utilize his breakaway speed to get open for the long pass as well as his ability to elevate off the ground to attack the ball in the air.

Another skilled prospect to watch for is DK Williams DK Williams 5'10" | 200 lbs | LB Beech | 2027 TN , a linebacker at Beech High School.
