Brighton MHSAA Camp:
|
Lawrence Wells

Brighton | 2025
MI
| QB | 6’2 180 | Brighton |
Lawrence looked really comfortable playing at his new home. Wells dominated the spotlight for a majority of the camp. The way the ball left his hand, the way he was able to anticipate and throw into tight windows and the arm strength caught the attention of every coach and scout in attendance. The now Central Michigan commit left no doubt as to who owned the day at this camp.
Saginaw Valley State Camp:
| Ali Hoballah Ali Hoballah 6'2" | 240 lbs | OL Fordson | 2025 MI | 2025 | 6’1 290 | DL | Dearborn Fordson |
Ali stood out as not only one of the best big guys at the camp, but just flat out one of the best players in attendance. Ali blew me away with his performance in the agility drills and 40 runs as he just moved way better than pretty much anyone else in attendance. Ali did a great job in positional drills and displayed an incredibly amount of stamina as it seemed like he was constantly going through drills. It was an impressive showing that told me everything I need to know and that is that Ali is definitely on pace to be a great D2 prospect.
Gateway To The North Camp:
|
Madix Gorleski
Madix
Gorleski
6'3" | 175 lbs | QB
Vassar | 2027
MI
| 2027 | 6’3 185 | QB | Vassar |
This was a really great discovery for us here at Prep Redzone. Madix already has very good size for a 2027, and he has the ability to back it up. His release is very nice, he was extremely accurate, and I thought overall he was probably the biggest standout in my eyes. His development will be watched closely by many as he could be a very highly touted prospect very soon.
Central Michigan Big Man Camp:
| Brenden Van Syckle | 2025 | OL | 6’6 320 | Harper Creek |
Brenden stood out right from the beginning of the camp. He’s a big bodied lineman who has a good punch and strong legs. I think he still has to nail down the nuances, but he looked very in control at this camp. I will be following him this fall to see how this offseason of camps has improved his game!
Saginaw Valley State 7V7 Camp:
| Owen van der Veen | 2026 | 6’5 205 | East Kentwood |
Owen has really popped onto the scene over the last few months, and I really like what I saw from him at SVSU. He had a couple catches you just don’t see too often, and he gets open in a variety of ways. He was running clean routes, bodying defenders and making contested catch after contested catch. With another productive offseason, Owen is lined up to be a huge breakout star this fall. This was an easy choice for MVP of the day.
