Abram is one of the highest risers of this offseason, as he's quickly become an elite GLIAC prospect. Last season at DeWitt, Abram was a gadget player who found a lot of success doing a lot of different things. In the run game, Abram was trusted running a lot of sweeps / other outside runs. There, he displayed his great vision, patience, and once he hit the open field, speed. I'd fully expect great testing times from Abram as well, since he earned offers from GVSU, SVSU, and Davenport. Moving forward, Abram will be a closely-watched prospect. If he can build on his 2023 season, I wouldn't be shocked if Abram earned MAC attention.

I've covered Braden extensively on this site, but I absolutely could not leave him out of this article. I strongly believe that Braden is one of the best slot receivers in the state. Every time I've seen Braden in person, he's dominated the competition.

His biggest strengths are his detailed routes, change of direction, and acceleration. If he's running a post, Braden may stutter-step and head-fake before exploding into his post. If he's running a slant, Braden knows how to earn separation early and he wins leverage with his explosiveness and fast feet. The Wide Receiver market is extremely saturated, and it's difficult to separate the real from the fake in this giant receiver class, but I promise, no GLIAC team will regret recruiting Braden. That said, I believe that the only thing holding Braden back from D1 offers is that he doesn't have elite speed (though his speed is great).

Mason is someone who earned a ton of attention early in his high school career. A year ago, he was receiving a ton of hype, and it looked like he was on his way to becoming a great D1 prospect. Generally, Mason has not lived up to those expectations, but he still finds himself as maybe the #1 receiver in the Lansing area and a phenomenal D2 prospect. His 2023 highlight tape shows the upside. Mason's route-running is tight and features little wasted movement. That, on top of his above-average speed makes for a lethal deep threat. In addition, he showed a lot of promise in the open field. With improvements with his hands and overall more production in 2024, Mason could find himself with more GLAIC offers.

After watching Ryan a few times at camps, I have a good understanding of his abilities. Ryan is a pure athlete. Playing football and baseball, Ryan is a year-round competitor, and it shows on the gridiron. At the camps I've seen him at, he sports well above-average route running and solid hands. On film, Ryan is able to show off his physicality, open-field ability, and RAC a lot more. There are some things (footwork, general attention to detail, etc) that Ryan needs to work on in order to earn offers. Still, Ryan is a great receiver who I view as a fringe D2 prospect, and he'd be an excellent X receiver at the D3 level.

Will is a highly promising receiver from a way lesser-known school, Fowlerville. Playing in the slot, Will had a productive 2023 season. I especially like his route-running when it comes to short routes. Will can execute short outs, whips, curls, etc with less wasted movement than most receivers. He also had a few very good instances of concentration and ball tracking on deep balls. He's a receiver who has zero offers, I never see talked about, but he's legitimately one of the best receivers in the Lansing area, and could have a major breakout season this fall.
